When I was at my parents' house in June, I wanted to do something new and go painting outside in the forest ✨ I was very excited to film this video but honestly it turned out so chaotic mainly because I was constantly attacked by mosquitoes and ants 😂 This video is just a cozy and relaxing video with lots of birds singing and pretty forests and sceneries from my beautiful hometown. I hope you enjoy this all-over-the-place video even though it's very different from my usual content. Please tell me if you want to see something similar in the future too!

Hey friends!! I hope you enjoy this very chaotic but also relaxing (?) video haha, it’s certainly very different from my usual ones but at least I had fun editing it 😂 The sound is bad because I had to tweak it a lot due to all the background noise but I hope you still enjoy it! Hopefully I can make it even better next time 🥰

It’s refreshing to see something unplanned and raw. It’s how most of us paint. Polished and perfect has its place but this was not it. Enjoy the process next time and thanks for sharing your beautiful art 👏🏻

I very much enjoyed this video. I am myself went every now and than to open nature places and urbansketch. Pushing my comfortzone. In the beginning it was most of the times trying to find a place with hopefully not so many biting insects and testing material-combinations to take with me. How much is too much? How much is too less? What don't forget? I am still in this process, because I can't afford regular time for going out to paint. And the wishlist isn't vanishing. So I just shorten the supplies in my bag, to simplify. But it is each and every time well spend time, as you say, never waisted! 🌳

I love this video and the matching nails! It is so cute to see you a bit more in the video. And I love your painting! I'm so bad at painting out or even journal outside, even in Cafés it doesn't work well... This is definitely something I would like to be more flexible about.

Hej Tiina! I really enjoyed this video. Here in Sweden we have these anti mosquito band-aid stickers that are supposed to help against mosquitoes. Maybe you can order them to Finland from Sweden? The mosquitoes will be around when you have about three of these anti mosquito stickers on your clothes, but they will not bite because they do not like the smell. The stickers have been “treated” with peppermint oil and (in Swedish) -> citronella olja). Maybe your outdoor sessions will be more enjoyable for you then as it was for us viewers ❤

I really liked this video, not only how beautiful the painting turned out but the sound of the birds singing was so relaxing and I did have the video on while I was drawing too. This also reminds me of the woods behind my grandmothers house and that was so nice and calming too.🌲 love from sweden

😂 I went out the other day and did a creative project on a park table. I too was spooked by all the ants and bugs running around! So I get it! Nature is beautiful, but also terrifying! I loved the painting, and hope your having a wonderful day!

I like the painting. I don’t think I could stand the bugs. Next time maybe paint the major parts and then take a picture and finish it in doors. Bug free 😊

Hehe thank you!! And yep I would definitely do it any day if I wasn’t filming a video but I was committed to get it done outdoors 😂 Luckily the mosquitoes weren’t as bad when I was just sitting still for longer periods of time so they were the worst when I was talking to the camera haha

I was going to say our trails are so bad this year with mosquitoes. I would love to paint and draw our tissue but it’s near impossible. Last year was so much better.
