In this video i painted the Tamiya Type 10 Tank! a lovely kit of a really cool modern battletank. In this second video i paint the basic camo scheme and get it ready for further weathering!

The Type 10 turned out perfectly my friend, that was an intersection wzy of doing the dark wash, excellent finish, have a great 2023, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia.

Excellent video, no BS. I already tried the Russian green technique on one of my tanks and it looked excellent. (Unfortunately I messed up the winter camo so the tank now sits on the shelf of doom)

when are you showing the tracks and installation on the tank. i'm building the same unit and not sure if i should install tracks prior to the side skirt install.

Awesome video, I have a finished Tamiya Tiger I glued but wasn't able to paint it. I tried airbrushing primer and that wouldn't stick no matter what I tried. Are you spraying in a well ventilated room with a mask protection? I tried a spray booth with ventilation and even with that it was a bit worrying how much aerosol was left.

Hi, safety while spraying is very important! i dont use a spray booth but i do have a well ventilated room with a fan pointed straight at my desk when painting. i also wear a mask! i mostly use acrylic paints though and any varnish i use is sprayed outside! As for the paint not sticking this might be casting residue on the plastic of your model. it might be worth a try to clean your model with soapy water and try again! Thanks for watching!

@@Dutchguymakesmodels awesome, thanks for the recommendation, I will also try your paints to see if maybe that is the issue. Before spraying do you use any thinner mixed with the paint?

@@bogtato a bit of thinner is never a bad idea. however i have gotten these to work just fine straight out of the pot. but i would recommend using a drop of thinner anyway!

What airbrush and compressor are u using? I also want to get stardet with airbrusihing but i don't know what to buy.

Hi! i've been at that stage you're at right now. wanting to buy an airbrush but not sure what. i tried one of the super cheap ones and it worked okey for simple priming stuff. i recently switched over to a compressor with airtank (theres loads of brands out there but anything around the 100,- pricepoint will be good enough!) and ive been using the cheap included airbrush for the past year. i actually have a fancy new airbrush that i got for my birthday but i havent started using it yet haha! so long story short. an amazon airbrush/compressor set for around 100 bucks is really great to start with and will do almost everything you need for painting models.
