Excellent tutorial. Really great looking end result. Enjoyed watching. Good call on putting weight on the base. I always do the same. Often overlooked. I also put weights in all my plastic tanks so they feel more substantial when picked up. Pigments are something I’ve never used I’ll have to get some and experiment now I’ve seen what to do with them. Great stuff

Cheers mate 👍😀 glad you like it. So often you see models on a slope just toppling over, kept really helps and as you say adds a bit of heft to them as well. I use pigments off and on, usually on a large areas of terrain and tanks and monsters. They can give some really nice subtle effects you just can't achieve with paint (easily) 😀

Looks Awesome, personally I havent used contrast but I love the way you show their flexibility when combined with other techniques. keep it up!

Dude that is unreal. Just started myself with the plennor fields boxset and worry about the models break easy but that coin trick is great idea. Have you got video how you made that base?

Thanks very much, yeah the coin trick is a good way of adding some weight to bases. i have done it for amny models. i haven't filmed on specifically about the base, i did a similar one for my Troll though and used the same method 👍😀

Try it without auto-focus next time. Might help with the focus issues. Great video! Really helpful as I'll be tackling this soon!

Thanks very much, glad you like it 😀 The auto focus has been driving me crazy, I couldn't work out how to turn it off as it wasn't a menu option anywhere, quick search on KZfaq and sorted, will be fixed from now on... hopefully 👍
