"Painting with Poison" sounds like the name of a bad-ass metal song.

On the black backdrop it would super cool to see like the "Four Horsemen of the Artocalypse" where it's like all of them riding horses in their different styles with their iconic weapons but looking like the items you would use: "Sketch" = Death (Pencils) "Paintine" = Famine (Paints/Brushes) "Markwar" = War (Chisel Makers) "Bleachstilence" = Pestilence (Bleach/Brushes/etc.)

DAMN IT MAN... that first landscape wasn't ruined at all. Looked like a fog settled. That was awesome... one thing i learned, never throw out yer mistakes. Come back at a later time and you may feel differently about it and turn it into something amazing.

I really enjoy how "back to basics" this video almost feels, more calm, less WOW POW flashy and more about the process

I loved all the clothes, including the ones Jazza called fails. There’s just something about art on clothing that elevates even simpler pieces into something awesome.

I remember about 10 years ago when I was in college my teacher had my entire class using parker ink and bleach. It was fun at first and we were all loving the effect, but when 20+ people are all splashing bleach about in a fairly small room the fumes aren't so fun 😅

So glad I’m not the only ADHD artist that loves to try ALL the different mediums/techniques. Thanks for always giving me new ideas. 🤣

Just wanted to say thanks for showing the times when you overwork paintings or drawings. I tend to get really frustrated and give up when I overwork something and I tend to attribute it to my lack of skill or talent. You always come along and prove me wrong and it's inspiring!

If you use freezer paper to cut out your stencils you can iron it onto the shirt and itll stick to the fabric long enough to work as a very crisp stencil but can peel right off afterwards without leaving any residue!

I would treat everything afterwords to make it safe. Probably something non-reactive, clear, and "sealing" for the paper and some general cleaning for the shirts... hopefully it wouldn't fade anything further, because I really like the skull.

Always a pleasure to see you venture on new borders of art! In 2021 I was, myself, practicing "Bleach-Painting" on fabric (or as it's called over the Internet [whatever that is...] "Reverse tie'n'dye") and I learned some good advice I'd like to share with everyone who wants to try this at home. From what i've learned, it's better to use thick fabric (like sweaters and big-fat-winter hoodies) so that the liquids won't spread that much. Also, don't wash them before bleaching, so that bleach drops will stay on the surface of the fabric and do their job with precision, because when the fabric is new, it has this kind of "waterproof chemicals" that protects the sweater until it's sold and washed the first time ^^ (Don't worry, it's not dangerous on your skin, not as much as BLEACH!!!) Do not hesitate to dilute your bleach with some water to get some different shadings (or bleach twice for a brighter result, but don't forget to let it dry before adding the second layer. Else it will spread through wet fabric and it will give you a blurry result...) Another advice for beginners is to use a white crayon (those made for school blackboards) or a projector (go for the cheapest one, you won't need a good resolution for that) so you can draw sketches when you still get the chance to change your ideas =P. Oh, and don't spray too much, spraying bleach can make a bit of contrast, but it also makes everything blurry around ,and the bleach particles get in your lungs and that is TOTALLY NOT COOL... =( And finally, protect yourself! (Nooo... I'm talking about gloves and a facemask for spray paints, you silly minds...) I think the “failed” landscape with the trees looks amazing. Looks like dead trees growing from a crystal clear lake. Not everyone’s gonna understand this, but that piece gives me Soul Eater vibes. Like the inner conscious of Tsubaki when she was fighting her brother.

I am a painter and love to find new ways to create images. Long long ago I saw where someone had created the Beatles on a black t-shirt with bleach. It was a silhouette of the guys and the logo. Turned out really cool. I never tried doing this but I remember it. I like the idea of painting bleach on ink. This is something I could get into. Thanks for sharing Jazza!!!

I worked in a factory for a while, and an older gentleman from the middle east, whom i deeply respect, showed me an interesting technique. During his downtime he would draw on our white industrial napkins using multicolor paint pens. He would then use an aerosol can filled with Acetone that we used for cleaning as an airbrush effect . He would paint whole landscapes and portraits between making shim stacks for shock absorbers.

The mountain picture is SO cool! I just wish he had put the moon on the other side so the shadows would've made sense 😄 EDIT - Also, they make markers that you can fill with water to use on one of those coloring water mats for kids. I put watered down bleach in them and also soak old markers in bleach and use those to make designs on my son's shirts that he wears to work. He works in a kitchen and was constantly coming home with bleach stains on his work shirts. By adding some bleached designs at home, it looks a little more intentional and not so sloppy 😁👍

9:29 HOLY SH*T, THAT MUSIC! In 2011 there was a chinese cartoon about giant robots called The Configurators, and they had this music in the "last time on" type recap segment at the start of each episode.

Heat is key. I've made several bleached design shirts and ironing after each application really speeds things along.

I’ve been doing bleach art on shirts for years. You can cut infinitely complex stencils on freezer paper and iron them shiny side down to the shirts to get a perfect seal. Then spray with a fine spray bottle.

Here's some tips i learned: - use chalk for a sketch - use baking soda to stop the reaction (this is important on clothes as beech can eat all the way trough it)

In our art class, we usually use Ink and bleach to produce intricate work like working with inking bugs and then layering on bleach on top of the drawn bugs to make details. Its really fun!

I think the comet/trees shirt turned out pretty cool! On the tie-dye shirt, the drizzled bleach drips made the blob in the middle of the shirt look like a ringed planet which I think is a really great unexpected result.

That skull was pretty awesome. In my dabbling I found that if I get a sponge that is mostly dried and use that I can layer it on. You just have to be patient and wait until you see the result of what you did before going onto the next layer

Genuinely one of my favourite shirts was a plain black t-shirt that got subtly bleached when I accidentally left it scrunched up in a fold up metal chair outside over a year. It's got holes and a really awesome blotchy red patina that I wish for the life of me I could recreate.

There's this one specific art form that I really love and would be fun to see Jazza try. It's using spray paint to make a galaxy sky behind a city skyline on some form of paper. From what I can tell, it's usually done on the streets of New York, and it is gorgeous! The various methods to make them are interesting and give me ASMR vibes.

I would absolutely buy the skull design on a t-shirt, hoody even on some black jeans, I really wasn't expecting the bleach to take like that but it looks fantastic... as always much luv and respect all the way from the uk.

really cool...I love the skull tee shirt, I haven't done any bleaching myself, but I have watched another guy do it and after he's done, he puts the shirt in a mix of 1/4 cup of peroxide to 2 cups of water to stop the bleach from reacting.

Hey, here's this New art medium I made up today on accident: mix paint and water and add small amounts of cornstarch until you get a runny oobleck . Once it's dried, smudge the background until you like it, then scrape off the oobleck to reveal a different shade. Idk it looks cool. I replied with pictures of the results, so check out the replies if you wanna see how they turned out.

Oh boy. This is such a typical jazza art experiment. Cant wait to watch the insanity.

I use to do this as a kid (we did it outside with supervision and used gloves and eyewear) to decorate dark-colored clothing and jeans. Rather just splotting it down or going at it with a paint brush and drawing lines and patterns. It was some fun stuff. We still think dad would intentionally ruin some clothes in the wash with bleach just so we can do something fun with it to un-ruin it XD

I'm doing this currently in my GCSE art sketchbook (year 10) and it's been so cool seeing how to use it and different techniques something I liked trying was seeing how more diluted bleach had a different effect on different dilutions on ink I don't know whether anyone is going to read this or care but a good way to try it is with a piece of watercolour paper so it doesn't make the page rip and any bleach but using "quink" ink is a really good way of doing it as it's made with a dark blue and yellow which makes the bleach bring out the colours and just any paintbrush

I use to bleach shit into my black shirts in high school. I learned very quickly that 1: you have to put a good barrier between the front and back, and 2: Bleach eats away at the fibers so much that if you leave it on too long, it will basically disintegrate. Good times!

Calligraphy could be really cool. I really like how this inverts the light and dark areas.

If you ever want to try bleach printing I've done it before, and this is what I've figured out about getting the bleach to not be bloby you need to be really light handed with the bleach. I usually use a stencil made of freezer paper that I iron onto the shirt and a spray bottle, then dab off the excess immediately, that way I can get defined lines. Also put newspaper or something else in the shirt, if you want to wear it later, or it'll bleed through.

Pro-tip for bleach dye: wet your piece of clothing before you put on the elastic bands and then use undiluded bleach over the garment!! You wont have to wait as long..believe me. I customize a lot of my clothing this way and it’s hard to not make everything bleach dyed. I also use the undiluded bleach as paint on black coton shirts and totebags for instance

1:02 I had done one of my GCSE final pieces with ink and bleach, I had painted portraits of myself and 3 my friends. It turned out awsome, though breathing in bleach fumes for 5 hours straight was not such a good idea.
