Brilliant play by everyone, there was basically two mistakes the whole game and one was got away with and one wasn't and that's it, such is pool at such a high level!

Waiting for the shite and OTT commentary as always, and at 18:08 we have a typical statement.. "yeah, brilliant" he says as the cue ball runs almost onto the cushion, causing loss of position next shot, and eventual loss of frame and match!! Best to watch the game on mute I find 😄

I don't mind the commentary, actually I quite like most of it. However, the relentless and empty 'analysis' of the break is difficult to listen to. Nobody's said anything new or different about the break in 30 years. Why do we need a conversation about it every frame. They want to pot a ball and control the cue ball - we know!

am I the only one wondering about how this format became so popular recently and how this table is way to small and easy to play.

Spoken by an idiot who's no idea. Small table = TRAFFIC! Tight pockets, tiny cueball, negotiating paths needs PERFECT CUEING. You try imparting heavy spin on a ball so small. U.S tables are ridiculous, you can play shots down cussions that are way off and still pot. You can put as much or as little spin on the cueball as you like, it's enormous. You can get more spin on a U.S pool cueball using a cue with a much wider tip than you can on an English pool cueball using a cue with a smaller tip (typically the same size tip as a snooker cue) Miscues are common when an average player tries to pull off shots that look easy enough, but are well beyond them. English pool finds you out quickly at the top level, even decent amateur level. U.S pool can be mastered by drunkards, children, pieces of fruit

The fact that one of the greatest snooker players of all time, a man who on his day can choke anyone into submission on a snooker table, isn't top dog in this most 'simple format' of cuesports. It says it all

Selby's game in vile on a snooker table, it'll burn your eyes if you're not careful, it's shameless. He drags his opponents through the streets until they're ripped to pieces, look like one of Jack the Ripper's victims. His heinous yet unbelievably effective style cannot be replicated on such a small table, English pool's cutthroat, you break and finish. If you can't finish within 3-4 visits, time to call it a day. People see this game and laugh it off, it's offensive, they wouldn't progress on a circuit specifically for the partially sighted, yet alone professionals. You rarely get beaten in the pub you drink in, the regional league you play in, you're going nowhere at this level. I'd bet the tip of my d**k on it
