Dhoola Bhatti wala was a punjabi folklore. Bhatti was a Rajput clan were forced to convert to Islam after Allaudin khilji circle them, gave them choice or conversion or get killed. They agreed to convert but refused to eat Cow. Some Bhatti people remained Hindus and many were killed by Akbar when revolted against him. After this, their mother's who survived got hidden all memories and weapons from their upcoming youngsters. But when people started to taunt these young Rajput to get revenge. Young Bhattis opened up memories from their mother's and again revolted against barbarian muslim rule. They fought with valor and bravery and eventually got martyred for their mother land. These Bhattis youngsters got famous as particularly as " Dhoola Bhatti wala ho ". Who was Ganga Ram who built Lahore of 20s 30s.

While, we Indians have gradually been losing our ability to be self-critical in the last few years, our friends from our neighbouring country seem to be improving on this front. A society which is capable of being self-critical has a good chance of doing well in the future. Hope we regain this ability and give up on the "Mera Bharat Mahaan" mode of thinking.

Criticism for the sake of it is also delusional. It sows seeds of unnecessary discord in communities as well. Criticism or praise of anything requires practical and logical thinking first and foremost. It is safe to say that Indians in general (at least the non Abrahamic ones) are far more practical than the Pakistanis.

@@SahilSura-yq4ds No, I am not talking about the invaders. Just that we need to acknowledge that everything within our culture/society may not be necessarily right. We can celebrate the great things in our culture but should be sane enough to question the questionable things. We should not just blindly accept and celebrate everything just because it is "ours". As this video by Lallantop has shown, we have done quite a few things right after independence because our founding leaders after independence thought and behaved with sanity.

No worries the real results will show up in the next decade with the compulsory religious education implemented in schools and college books. If anybody wants proof then just watch the reactions of school kids on those Pakistani public reaction shows who proudly have chat shows with those kids and upload them.
