People's of South India clearly understand urdu.Becuse in Andhra Pradesh I think Dhakkani urdu is spoken. As far as Karachi is concerned it was most developed city in undivided India. It was equal to Calcutta, Madras now Chennai and Delhi and Bombay and Bangalore. I fact port city Karachi was developed by Hindus and Hindu Business man's.
