Born and bought up here and I can tell you one thing "Agar aap Kolkata aye to ek ajib si khichao apko mehsus hogi" yaha ke logo ka Ikhlak, their helping nature and mostly important As per food it is divided into various part 1) Mughlai Dishes in Park Circus, Zakaria Street belt, Razabazar 2) Bengali Cuisine in Gariahat, Ballygunj, Shyambazar 3) Chinese Food in Tangra 4) Street food in New market area, Vardaan Market, Esplanade etc Overall November to March is the best time to visit Kolkata.

bahut saste hain kolkata street foods,lekin taste aur quality mein koi compromise nahi..hamlog heavy nasta kar ke ghar se nikalte hain aur dopahar yaa afternoon mein ham street food hee try karte hai.hajoron varieties hai.kolkata mein non veg street items he jyada milte hain,lekin veg street foods ke liye aapko non bengali hindu community ke area mein jaana hoga.soth indian dosae,bade idli aur upama,gujrati pav bhaji se ley kar dhokla,rajsthani chat,bihari litti chokha se ley kar italian veg dishes bhi mil jaayengi.sham ke naste mein snacks kee bharmar rahti hai,piyaji,baigani aaloohap jhaal moodhi ghughani chat kya kya nahi?

Gupta sweet shop is not famous in kolkata. Nabin chandra das sweet shop ( inventor of rossogulla), K.C Das, Bhim chandra nag (Inventor of lady canning sweet and tal sash sandesh) & Ganguram, this is the famous sweet shops in kolkata.

Arey Victoria Memorial ghoomney gaya tha. Sab ladkey ladkiya, chooma-chaati kar rahey thay udhar. Sandesh, aur mishtee-doi bahut achhi hoti hai Kolkata ki. Egg Roll bhi bahut swadisht rehta hai. Yaha nahi milta egg roll. Waise Non-Veg nahi khaana chaahiye.
