Performing against minnow teams and nz on highway pitches is an not a big achievement . Pak beat sl in test but failed to odi . Pakistan has talented players but they lack planning . No top quality spiner in team even afg has so many. Strike rate another problem in batting . waise is haar ke liye dil chota math karein aap log- this match was worthy of the final which incidentally happened in virtual semi-final. both teams fought tooth and nail and obviously one team has to win but none deserve to lose though. 2-3 ghalatiyaan pakistan ne kee aur 2-3 achi cheezein bhi huin. ghalati yeh thee ke afridi kaafi runs diya aur utna penetrative nahi tha jo woh usually rehta hai, doosri as usual pakistan ki buri fielding haalaanke maamool ke khilaaf kuch achi fielding bhi kee hai pakistan ne aur last but not the least and the most important aspect was babar's non pro-activeness and lack of aggressivness which is a very consistently seen from him specially during crunch situations and matches he is totally brain faded and it was lucky that out of nowhere iftikhaar gave him some wickets with his intelligent bowling and afridi got 2 back to back wickets otherwise this match would have ended at least an over or so before would not have to a thriller which eventually happened.

It was an enthralling match which I watched till late night.Sri Lankans were under tremendous pressure to score 252 runs in 42 overs and to their credit they were scoring at 6 runs per over almost till the end .They panicked when they lost wickets in a heap.They had to score 6 runs in 2 balls and it was really magical to see 7 runs in 2 balls.Pakistan also played with great heart and really didnt deserve to lose .Super over would have been a fair result

When your team's Chief Selector is a GM of one franchise, when your team's Brand Manager is a GM of another franchise, and your team's Media Manager is from a third franchise then as a captain your priorities clash with each other. Players are the brands if their franchise. Every franchise wants there players to be in front of millions of audience. No wonder the selection of the team and playing eleven are not to win a game but to ensure balanced representation is given to all three franchises. I am not surprised that individual ranking is more important than team's performance. It does not surprise me that these players do not leave any match against minnows to keep their records and maintain their product value. I am sorry to say but unless the hold of franchises is jot removed, only known permanent players of the three francise will be given priorty over first class and List-A performers. Ali bhai Pakistan was in Sri Lanka for past 3 months so no one had better idea on conditions and this is the performances unfortunately...so what is coming up in India for worldcup where neither they are aware of pitches and conditions and neither anyone of them has played in India before😮

If pak bowlers don't get 2-3 wickets in powerplay then they have no backup plan for 40 overs. We can see a sudden change in body language change when batsmen play good cricket in powerplay. We preassumed that this team can beat india because of bad performance of team India not because that pakistani players are brilliant.

These problems will be wiped with next win in another bilateral series for Fans as the driving factor is the love towards own natuon. But pak mgmt shudnt take this as undue advantage n play with emotions again. Put aome plan in action n be transperant. All we hear is the return of same players those were dropped b4. I echo the concerns raising here. Hope the change for betterment of Pak cricket is Near...
