Karachi, Pakistan ➖Love them or hate them, markets are a ton of fun, and this was no exception. After landing in Pakistan a few days ago, I knew there were a few things that I needed to fit in with the locals.
1. Sindhi Hat
2. Pakistan Cricket T-shirt
3. Sunglasses
4. Flip Flops
You would think that any market would have the above, but no, not here in the land of Pakistan. So I had to get creative and decided to go with some locals on the back of a motorbike, driving through the streets of Karachi hunting for these items.

Heartening to see the two youth going out of way to help a foreigner and helping him in every possible way. This is the culture and warmth of people in the subcontinent which we all should be proud of.

How amazing is this that even a local shopkeeper or a man on a stall in pakistan knows English but unfortunately our people do not get much paid due to financial crisis in pakistan! Our people definitely have more caliper! May Allah have mercy on us and may our country progress and become a developed country as soon as possible! ❤️🥺

I can't believe he sold you flip flops for 600 rs! My father paid 300 rs the most for flip flops in Lahore. Thank God those two Pakistani boys helped you bargain, I was in awe when he said 1500 rs for T-shirt. You can get a branded T-shirt for 1500 rs and if you're lucky you can get two branded ones from sale. Nice vlog!

That hat is called Pakol and its native to Chitral and worn by all North Pakistanis including Pashtuns. People from Gilgit Baltistan wear Pakol with feathers.

@@LukeDamant I saw a documentary about the multi ethnic mix of Lakemba. Pre Covid times, Heldon street always came to life at night during the holy month of Ramadan. Food festivals, markets and crowds gathered. Those camal burgers by the Lebonese community look the best. 😋

It's customary to take them to the petrol station and fill.up - especially as they spent all their fuel on you... Also I ho early thought you would have bought them lunch at some ordinary resteraunt - that's the custom there it's how to pay back the hospitality

There was a time in late 70's and 80's when foreigners used to go to Zainab market for everything. We miss that kind of tourism now. It's glad to see that bloggers/KZfaqrs are coming to let people know that Pakistani people are kind. And I would thank all the travel vloggers who have shown the right Pakistan. really there is no bad media or belief about Pakistan to the world. maybe only in India. but to other countries and people worldwide we have no bad beliefs about Pakistan. and this video has shown me how beautiful Pakistan is and their culture and people. truly i am proud to be Muslim. i see how Allah loves and beautifies those who love Him. You should visit some modern restaurants in Lahore some suggestions are: Aylanto, Amavi, Layers, Rina's Kitchenette, Cosa Nostra, Wasabi, Gaia, Sumo, Mandarin Kitchen, Koya, Delish, Haweli, Andaaz, Fujiyama (in avari hotel). I have some more places if you want. Also, if you're interested you could visit a trillion dollar mansion which is very rare to get into (my grandfather owns it)~! Stay safe and have fun!!

I am a person from India. From earlier years upto this day I don't like Pakistan and people there. I thought these people are very bad and rude. But after watching these videos I understood that these are created by medias that they are not nice. I had been hearing this kind of news a long time. From these media things I thought that Indians could not go to Pakistan because these people are not nice.But now I know that these people are one of the most kindest people on Earth. I think the hatred condition is made by the two government and also by medias. I wish I could come there one day. 💗

I love the willingness to help and generosity the two local guys showed. However, one thing foreigners should understand is that, while locals don’t expect anything in return, it’s important to reciprocate the courtesy they showed you. Did you care to ask them if they’re well fuelled to drive you around to multiple places? When you found out their biryani got stolen, that was a great opportunity for you to reciprocate their kindness and buy them one. Locals are nice but we need to understand these cultures are the way they are is because of the reciprocity of kindness people show each other.

Bro I just saw that no lisence scene on facebook and I come to see that scene. Those two guys were very good because they showed you the real karachi not like that clifton guy(3 tarzan)😅.
