I started living in this city 'Rawalpindi' 7 years after this video was captured, in 1982. I lived in Rawalpindi for 8 years. It was such a peaceful time. Those double-decker buses were replaced by big Volvo buses then; very comfortable buses. Travelled in those buses and some time Morris taxis and some time in Tanga from Peerwadhai to Murree road. Pakistan was run by dictator Gen Zia Ul Haq and Rawalpindi was the hub of activities BUT everyday life was more calm and blissful. It was a privillege to live in Rawalpindi during those years of my life.
