Pakistan should first combat its economic, political, and social crises that have mitigated Pakistan's say in the region and the world. South Asian region is already dealt with by strong competitors that have been in the game for a long time. Moreover, Pakistan is in a defensive position since the Afghan Taliban are not seen in a cooperative mood with Islamabad. Hence, Pakistan must tackle its internal and external issues ( especially border disputes with Iran & Afghanistan ) to strengthen its position towards playing any role in the region.

Political unrest, security issue and gender inequality are the main drivers of the tarnished image of Pakistan that deteriorated conntry's say in the region. It is high time for Islamabad to work on the internal issues to tackle the crises and ameliorate the image in the world.
