भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच यह युद्ध मई से जुलाई 1999 के दौरान नियंत्रण रेखा के साथ जम्मू-कश्मीर के क्षेत्र कारगिल और इससे सटी बर्फीली चोटियों पर लड़ा गया. इस युद्ध में होने वाली मौतों के वास्तविक आंकड़े उपलब्ध नहीं लेकिन भारत में 500 से अधिक फ़ौजियों की जान गयी और पाकिस्तान में यह संख्या 300 से 500 के बीच बतायी जाती है. 1999 का कारगिल युद्ध क्यों और कैसे शुरू हुआ, इस बारे में बहुत कुछ लिखा और कहा जा चुका है लेकिन इस जंग का एक मानवीय पहलू ऐसा भी है जिस पर बहुत ध्यान नहीं दिया गया. 23 साल बाद आज भी ऐसे परिवार मिलते हैं जो मोर्चे पर जाने वाले अपने प्यारों का इंतज़ार कर रहे हैं, जिनकी मौत की ख़बर तो आ गयी, पर वे हज़ारों फुट की ऊंचाइयों पर बर्फ़ की चादर तले न जाने कहां दफ़न हो गये. इन फ़ौजी अफ़सरों की सही संख्या से संबंधित आंकड़े सार्वजनिक रिकॉर्ड का हिस्सा नहीं हैं.

I know Indian Army had performed last rites of fallen Pak soldiers as per Islam. I would request Indian army to let the parents/ kins of these soldiers to visit the site of their buriel so that they can get some kind of closure. Pak army or the relatives of such soldiers shd take it up with Indian Govt through Indian embassy. This would provide great solace to these kins. I feel very deeply for them. Meanwhile they can rest assured their brave wards are in Jannat while that Musharraf is rotting in Jahannum.

Pakistan intentionally did not take bodies because they were initially refusing their involvement. According to them they were not army person but Mujahideen. Shame on Pakistani 🇵🇰 leaders who even refused to take bodies. I can feel the pain of parents who don't even received the dead bodies.

They have those perfect ethics of Army men , Respect, dignity and what not ! Our army respected each and every soldier during every war . They gave decent funerals to the Martyred ones according to their religion and culture ! I feel pity for the families of Pakistani officers, Wo dukh sachme koi nahi bata skta , jisme log apno ko hi antim baar na dekh paaye ! Pakistan failed to bring back their soldiers and this shows how careless they're ! Jai Hind !

Lets see how much respect you have for enemy soldiers if they succeeded in reaching and knocking your door. The soldier who is fighting for you and your family does not have personal animosity with opposite soldier. That soldier is willing to lose his life for you and your family so that the enemy does not lay hands on you. Useless idealism.

Because of the politicians, many brave hearts are not in this world to happily live with their family. My eyes are filled with tears when the mother says, "pair pe goli lagi vo gir gaya...." Both India and Pakistan lost many brave hearts ... Respect from an Indian..

शहिदो के परिवार को सौ सौ सलाम, मे खुद INDIAN ARMY मे था और INDIAN ARMY ne कारगिल में पाकिस्तानी फौजी भाईयो को बड़े ही Respect और इज्जत के साथ सुपूर्दे खाक किया था, लेकिन हमे उस बात का दुःख हे की भारतीय सेना के बताने के बावजूद भी पाकिस्तानी सेना अपने देश के WAR HERO को वापिस नही ले गई, भगवान और अल्लाह सभी शहीदो के परिवार को शक्ति दे, और शहीदो को जन्नत नसीब करे, जय हिंद 🙏🇮🇳 जय भारत

युद्ध के नाम पर किसी भी फौजी और लोगों की जान नहीं जानी चाहिए.... यह 21 वी सदी हैं और मानव कि चेतना काफी विकसित हो चुकी हैं... और इस सदी में क्रूरता और जंग, युद्ध जैसी चीजो कि कोई जगह नहीं होनी चाहिए 🙏🙏🙏🙏

बात तो आप सही कह रहे हो लेकिन सीधी उंगली से घी नही निकले तो उंगली टेढ़ा करना पड़ता है या घी की डब्बा को गरम करना पड़ता है। ये पाकिस्तान हे जनाब कभी नही सुधरेगा। जय हिन्द जय भारत।
