Kabobeesh is a an authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine restaurant located in West Philadephia. This is a great place if you're looking to try something different and yet flavorful. The kabobs are made to order and is made over natural coal fire. The bread also known as baked tandoori nan is something you need to find out for yourself because it is so fresh. Pair up the tandoori nan with some lamb curry for a great spicy flavorful experience. For the platters I ordered the chicken kabob over rice and chick peas. Secondly is the lamb kabobs over rice and sqaush and peas on the side. Both platters were wholesome and very fulfilling. The sides gives the lamb and the chicken a great balance of sauce and flavor. Give them a shot if you want to try something different. You may get hooked.

I could see you traveling the world experiencing different cultures and their foods. There is a guy who does it and has high views but he never critiques the food. Everything he eats is so amazing. But I fee like you would be real about what foods your eating.

Not a big secret Philly has crazy food spots.Chinatown,Italian Market, farmers markets with the Amish as well as some of the best sandwich shoppes (for those who know) anywhere. We have a large Muslim community so U will always be able to find halal food spots. An of course the best hoagies and cheesesteaks anywhere.A lot of people copy Philly and call them cheesesteaks and hoagies but they ain’t the same.Btw traditional Philly cheesesteaks, salt pepper ketchup mayonnaise on the roll, peppers on the side...

I first went to this restaurant about 10-15 years ago! It seems like they are still doing a decent job with their Indian-Pakistani-Bangldeshi fusion comfort & street food! I always enjoyed the fact that with their front steam table you could see a lot of the daily offerings. The bread is naan, baked in the Tandoor oven. They always have daily specials that are more interesting to me apart from the kebabs! Up Chestnut Street about a block is the restaurant Wah-gi-Wah. They do a much better whole roasted chicken & lamb chops , Lahore-style! JL, glad you got a good intro to spicy Indian subcontinent cooking! The rice was basmati or jssmine.

love the Phillies' colors, used to be my favorite team back on the late 1970's and early 80's and im from the Boston area, always have the Boston teams. Still have a lot of the old school shirts and hats from back in the day. Hopefully they can make something out of this year and they re-sign realmuto. As for food the kabobs rice look bad ass , but you can the leep the squash and peas. stay cool and thanks as always for these post.
