Pakistani in Japan - What Happened at Japan Airport Immigration

Being a Pakistani in Japan on a tourist visa was a great experience but here I will share with you what happened with me at the Japan Airport Immigration. Although getting Japan Visa for Pakistan is not easy but I am grateful I got the travel visa to japan and I went to Tokyo and Kyoto cities.

I visited Japan in january 2018. I travelled directly Pakistan to japan Tokyo narita Airport it was my first visit and nobody asked me any question even their behaviour was very good and I appreciated them and they just let me pass the immigration with great respect and honour..

I have been to Narita Airport (Tokyo) many times with Pakistani passport. But luckily have never been stopped or asked unusual questions. However the value of Pakistani passport has been badly tarnished overseas due to our country's policies and reputation of our consecutive governments regarding corruption etc.

Being in japan since 2011 and has no issue while coming in and going out of Japan, so u might be unlucky. Otherwise anyone who visited us from Pakistan, their first impression about the country is that it has the most cooperating and smooth immigration.

Dear I have traveled 27 countries in last few years. I was landed at Kansai airport Osaka Japan on 08 April. 2019. I did not face any problem and no question was asked except my stay duration. I got 15 days entry.

Yes, True, in 1980s japan was giving visa to every pakistani, but later some pakistan governments were not good, which naturally had bad effect on visa also.

I went to Japan 2017 and Korea in 2018. Both immigration process were very smooth. Even Japanese didn't ask me any questions. They just informed me you can stay 15 days. My first visa was Japanese visa. Got visa like piece of cake from China ..

I visited Japan from Hong Kong in 2007 on Japan airport immigration not ask any thing just custom officer ask 1 questions after I give answer he said wellcom to Japan no problems with Pakistan passport

i am EX Pakistani and from 2005 Japanese national,there Immigration is very Professional.Even i travelled Japan on Pakistani Passport in 1996,they never disturb me to enter Japan.

Oh no Japan is really one of the best countries I have ever been to. This was my personal experience thats it as I was travelling alone all by myself. Overall the people are the sweetest persons ever!

Seen this first hand myself. I have a Indian passport and trailed to US (from Canada) with a Pakistani office colleague to attend a conference. On the immigration counter, I was allowed catch the connecting flight, however my colleague was stopped and questioned for nearly two hours. It was good that that layover between two flights was for four hours and we could reach to the connecting flight gate number on time.

I also had to fill a lengthy form which requires all the info about yourself, your trip and your past travel history. It took me about an hour and half to fill that form. I travel around the world regularly for my business but in last twenty years Japan business trip was my worst experience.

I was also asked to wait at Haneda Airport. Then an officer took me to a hall where they checked visa with magnifying glass and in computers. Then a short interview. They want to be sure that you'll leave. The quarantine checked bags thoroughly. Japan is very nice. I love their trains.

When I landed in Narita, immigration people took us in a separate room like you. But before they start asking questions I told them the Japanese company name I'm working with, they immediately said sorry sorry, stamped our passports and we were free in 5 minutes.

I was travelled in 2017,but my experiences was very great,they do no treat me like this, they ask me just one question at immigration counter in a very polite tone,and custom don't ask any question, I really love to go Japan

lol your story is funny. i have been japan in 2016. as i have french passport no question at all, in Narita airport.... when pickup the bage custom ask how many days you will stay i said 6 days he let me go. but japani peoples are so nice great attitudes. when they saw i in problem they came by them self propose them help.... i stay 3 months in hong kong. but in hong kong in & out 4 times they check my passport take 20 to 30 min to verified but never ask any question. just very sad thing, our country reputation is bad. our government need to work on our image in the worlds, best of luck, hope you have been enjoyed like me. now this year i will go again.....thanks for sharing your experience with us.

I have recently traveled to Japan and came out from Narita Airport. Nothing just happened. They didn't stopped me nor they asked any kind of questions. Please don't show this negativity before verifications from other friends. May be this happened only with you. But because of your personal experience, please don't make others ashamed. Thank you. According to my travel experience Asian countries are more racist than European countries. I flew many times to Germany but never faced problem at their airports but had very bad experiences at the airports of Cambodia and Myanmar.

@@MajidMushtaqOfficial it's true I've been questioned at Chinese immigration, not in the room but still they kind of hold up the line and everyone behind me gets annoyed. They question really silly stuff, like where do you live, why did you go back etc etc. I always keep my student ID card, my passport and everything ready to show them and present them to the immigration officer together. It saves time. But what I find unfair is that I have never broken the law, I've never been in any sort of trouble, I'm a law abiding citizen and I always extended my visas on time. Then why do they still question me. I mean if I had a record that would make sense. But I don't. I'm just a student here. My best experience was at Qatar airport. They did not ask me one question. And they gave me Visa on arrival. I recommend going to Qatar it's a beautiful country.

It’s a normal process, it’s called secondary check out process, if immigration officer 👮♀️ is not satisfying from your answer then they can ask u all the questions ,until they satisfied , and customes do same thing, I carrry us passport and Sometines I get stop in Europe airports for secondary and I see lot of Europen get stop in USA 🇺🇸 air ports , so brother it’s nothing to do with passport , it’s just which officer u get , please don’t get irritated 😠,

Being Indian, I had travelled S.Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Turkey etc. But never ever been harassed or molested by any Immigration officials. Never gone through from such long Q&A session. Nevertheless after watching your video I feel myself proud & privileged to have Republic of India passport. 🇮🇳🇮🇳

Mostly peoples from Pakistan they come and after when they enter into the city. They already have plan how to apply Refugee Visa. Even they have tourist visa or Business visa they just wanna get refugee because after applying that immigration give stamp on their passport for more 3 months. They say that they have some trouble in Pakistan they don’t wanna go back.

I went two times to Japan for training in Nippon engineering college hachioji Tokyo and they checked everything in my luggage but very politely,it's normal for us because we are green passport holders
