Pakistan also made law's similar to what Bangladesh has done regarding company formation. Which is benefiting Pakistan's economy & will benefit Pakistan in the future. It will save Pakistan government from getting into financial trouble & the companies will be fully liable for any loss, not the government. Indian are quick to say Bangladesh is benefiting from them, their media is full of this one sided facts but the reality is Bangladesh has been making 10-12 billion loss in trade with India every year. India's also saying things like boycott Bangladeshi products, just as they were saying to boycott Chinese products before. But its very foolish of them to do that with Bangladesh. Geographically Bangladesh is one way weak position with India as they surround Bangladesh on land, they have built the longest fenced border in the world with Bangladesh. Yet they need Bangladesh to keep their seven states on the north. many of whom want to break loos of the clutches of India. Because of Bangladesh's supply line their states are still with them, else their government know it would break India to little pieces, because if one state leaves the rest would follow. So they should stop spreading this lie, instead say both countries benefit. Indian companies are moving out of India & coming to Bangladesh, this still benefits them because they can keep their factories running, Bangladeshi people get employment & Indian products minus the import tax. They recently campaigned hard to boycott Walton Bangladesh, nonetheless Walton this year has grown by 123% & the best seller in India's Market even after so many restriction put on Bangladeshi companies. PRAN RFL, you may not know about them, they've started business in India, again no.1 during its first year, it was in Indian news media. Indian government always practice of unfair trading practice when it comes to Bangladeshi companies operating in India. Bangladesh does the opposite & provides fair trade for them with same rules except some rule which are according to international standards. Important thing to know from this is that you need good relations with other nations to fill the economic zones. Bangladesh first proposed 100 Economic Zones but this had to be increased. In this field India's economic zone is empty, even their own companies aren't going there (they rather come to Bangladesh) which is size of Latvia. Bangladesh government needs to make the country more business friendly, suggested by JICA. I'm sure this message from JICA won't go ignored & will do everything possible. Your right about labor immigration will follow, we know all about this since Bangladesh has millions of people around the globe. China & Japan is making the biggest contribution for Bangladesh economic zones, USA I hear want to invest in billions in Bangladesh. Australia, UK, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Turkey will make a large footprint too & many many more. including Pakistan, prime minister Imran Khan also showing interest for Pakistani companies to be in Bangladesh's economic zone. Iran might decide to do the same if there's no sanction's to stop them. I'm not sure how Bangladesh's going to fit all the friends Bangladesh has around the world in economic zones, I'm sure the government has thought it out. No matter how much wealth Bangladesh make's Bangladesh has a lot of friendly countries which Bangladesh is indebted to for all those years of support & help they've provided. Hence Bangladesh will be helping poorer nations with whatever its possible for Bangladesh to do. Bangladesh is very long way from becoming developed nation, this is going to be the toughest journey yet to come out of middle income to becomes developed nation. If you just think about it, Bangladesh few years ago couldn't afford to feed the people, from there to middle income nation in such a short time. Other's spending longer time means they also learn many technology on their journey, which Bangladesh has avoided, now Bangladesh needs to modernize hence technology is a must so are other formalities & other harder targets to be met. Therefore the journey now is even tougher, resource acquisition is harder, plus the cost will be more as the discounts Bangladesh used to get will soon be removed. Security upgrade is another must, not only on land, but air & sea.
