As per this video what I understood was *Bharatiyaas were the people who followed vedas and were located near to sindu river and their king was sudas* later he expanded his kingdom and included the other clans of people who followed puranas and all,,,and made them under one umbrella known as bharatiyaas. *And many years later King bharata made Bharatvarsh by conquering afgn, south of Bharat and all* 🙏🏻

Battle of ten kings vs sudas(bharata tribe) is mentioned in rig Veda. Rig Vedic period is 1500BC to 1000BC which was spread around sindh and punjab. Later from 1000BC to 500BC, other Vedas were also compiled. The Vedic civilisation was mostly Village rural civilisation around Indus-ganga doab. No no. The Indus Civilization actually predates the arrival of the vedic people. When indus civilization started to disappear that's when we see the arrival of the Vedic people. Some people even argue the fact that reason for the extinction of the Indus Valley civilization was the arrival of the vedic people. The Rigveda tells a story of how LORD INDRA(personification of the Vedic people) defeated the Dasyus(the indus valley people). Indus valley civilization might be the most ancient civilization. Their gods were proto shiva(older shiva) and the dancing goddess.
