Pancha Vadya is 5 instruments ie vadhya .The drums are referred to as chenda . Pooram is a star .The sanatani almanac describes 27 stars and pooram is one of them

Due to some issues, the fireworks were not held on time .Once the Pooram is over, the work for the next year's Pooram will start from the next day. Different design umbrellas are used every year and what is used one year may not be used the next year.

The story you told is correct. Like Thrissur Pooram, there are other big Poorams in Thrissur. The Pooram in the story you told is also Big Pooram. Thrissur is the cultural district of Kerala.
