Sir, Connaught Place was build in 1930s for the purpose to create India's biggest market of that time. But our ansestors boycott it during national movement and refused to open any shop in it . There was a time near independence when this beautiful building was used as a horse shelter (ghodo ka astabal) due to our boycott policy. After independence the government took command and started to give the shop on rent in minimum price. At present there is no doubt in it for being one of the top expensive place of the world. Showroom's rent here are easily 5-10 lacs INR monthy. Aap aao kabhi India aur hame mauka do mehman nawazi ki 😊

The entire CP is private and also has residence ,the middle circus basically is rear side of the inner and outer circus and the central park has a huge fountain and also houses the underground Pallika bazaar a fully airconditioned market , and the New Delhi Railway station is a few metres away exits from the inner circus one leads to India Gate one to the Parliament ,one towards the airport , etc .

I visited Connaught Place during My School Days, When I went to My Elder Sister's House at Delhi... Enjoyed a lot over there... A Very Popular Restraurent "Nirula's" s also there. I am amzed that He didn't visit "Nirulas". Sweet Teen Age Memories 💓 21.13, If Somebody is paying Rs 5.00 Lacs INR Per Month in Connaught Place,, Even than He is earning more than Rs.9.00 lacs Per Month... This area is full of Foreign Tourists, The Business Transaction is Very Huge. Here You can experience the Prosperous India. 🇮🇳

Soda 30 ki Chasma 100 ki mil jati h aram se Bag 200-250 me mill jati hai. Bombay Dyeing jinna ki beti ki brand hai. Yes rent is high, 4th expensive commercial area in the world. Wo pattri wale bhi 20000 rent pay karte hai

Yeh british era me bhi market hi banayi thi aur Delhi ka first cafe UNITED COFFEE HOUSE yahi khula tha... aur Office rent such me bahut mehnga hai CP me yaha ka kiraya London ki market ke saath compare kiya jata hai

Connaught Place, if I remember correctly, has upto P - dont remember if therevis an O blovk. So probably 15 or 16 Blocks. Plus a lot of other markets across tge road from Outer cirle. You need atleast 2 days to thoroughly explore tge area.

CP is not considered so Posh anymore! Most suburbs in Delhi have big Malls now, CP used to be famous before big Malls came on the scene. Even Noida and Gurugram have good malls now. If you need to buy Handicrafts-Dilli Haat is really good
