Urdu originated in India and was nearly nonexistent in the areas which would eventually become the state of Pakistan... regardless it’s the cultural similarities between India & Pakistan that the song fits the occasion! It’d be completely out of place to put an Arabic song in the Pakistani wedding video... coz one just can’t relate to it!!!

Haha the song isn't about pakistani or indian, or urdu or Hindi. It's about rukhsati which has cultural significance and is a significant part of a wedding in South Asia so it apploes to everyone
