Electricity Unit is free up to 200 units in India .. but only in some states(3-4) with certain conditions that the consumer will expense under 200 units per month. This is also a fact that electricity price per unit is fine everywhere in India and most of the Indian families are capable of paying the bills.

bill is not free, it has slabs, so for a house with say 1 fan, 1 light, 1 fridge tv is under 300 units, so they only pay rental, this helps poor people However if your unit goes above 300 you get billed for it.

This types of freebie will destroy the economic condition of our country, if it continues in future. We in West bengal pay electric charges @Rs.5 to 10 approximately per unit consumed depending on total units consumed pet month.

300 units state ke hisaab se free hei , poore hindustan ke liye nahi. Aur bijli ka hisaab 100, 200 aur 300 unit ke liye alag alag rate hei.
