There is no duality.. Shiv and Shakti are together...True Self Realization .. is the highest goal.We are literally star dust. 3. Why Idol Worship or Murti Pooja or .. Hindi me jo maati paaro pe hai uski murti bana ke bhagwan kaise maan le... : - This question or thought itself is profound if you really set out to know why.. It takes intelect, brain , logic ,love and heart to know the answer and the most basic one is that : our Minds are weak , we find distractions so easily, to be focused our minds needs support of an entity/diety to focus on. Now when the Sun of Gyan Yoga ..Bhakti Yoga.. shines, then the ice berg melts and you see that it's all one .. that form ..that ice berg is ultimately the ocean, and that ocean was ultimately the iceberg. As if the intense desire to know ,the intense love for God and love for everyone, the intense devotion to see God freezes the ocean into a shape of an iceberg and the devotees sees God in that form of an iceberg and the moment he sees the self the moment the Gyan and Bhakti Yoga reaches its peak a Sun of love shines and it melts the iceberg and the devotees sees that the ocean itself is the iceberg and the iceberg was the ocean. Its all the same .. Self is everywhere.. So when a true Sanatani performs murti pooja .. or worships a river.. worshipsa tree .. worships a stone .. worships a flower.. a thread a .. he is trying to see the one ..in everything and everywhere.. .. In Sanatan Dharma we have taken this oneness to an extreme level and want to experience and see the ultimate reality everywhere and in everything .. Man ..Woman.. Animals .. Trees.. Stones..River and Mountains .. Planets and Sun's. That's why we worship everything. 3. Now what Muslims will counter with is very basic ..Worship the creator of heaven and earth and why worship his creation. And this is where Sanatan Dharma differs.. we desire to see..we want to experience the true self in everything and everyone and ultimately see no difference in the creator or his creations.. Its not two separate circles.. like God Is one circle and he is creating other circle but as per sanatan dharma its concentric circles.. we might be in the outermost circle and desire to travel to the innermost circle by meditation and worshiping everything. Its the journey to the innermost circle ..It's grossly incorrect to think that God created this world for human for them to exploit it. 4. The bottom line is that our minds or hindi me mann is weak and all these pooja path ..Dharm karm are created ..to keep it focused to the one true goal of not only knowing but experiencing true Self Realization..
