Muslims aren't considered bad people in India but you cannot Crack jokes on them. Some far rights and fundamentally extremes do but in general you can't. One reason of that can be you want to make your minorities feel wanted and comfy or maybe people are just scared that anything said on them will hurt their sentiment and will lead to dire severe grotesque consequences !! You cannot make movies on muslim beliefs like you can make on Hindus. In present situation or environment one cannot even make movies on hindu beliefs as well !! Every community in India now is fanatic and organized !!

Because everyone is equally sensitive about their religion. Your jokes on muslims might not cross the line for me but it can for other muslim. Same case is with other religions as well. I always take and make healthy jokes on religion while i hang out with my friends of other religions because whatever i will say is going to be heard by someone who can take sportingly and that's the problem with the films, youtube videos where all types of people watch and gets triggered which is somewhat reasonable. If comedy is subjective so is jokes on religion as well.
