@@alexandersupertramp7353 Are you sure you watched the video? This facility is mostly dirt floor. They have oil, paint, filings, slag, and probably a few kinds of chemicals going into the ground. There's a machine in the background without a belt hosing. One of the guys is just standing there at the press machine with no mask breathing in paint dust. The guy with welding without a glove. 8:56 that retaining ring should be installed inside of a cage so it doesn't accidentally fly off and dent the guy's skull in. I don't care if this is how these guys run their business in Pakistan, but don't say something stupid like Americans won't do this kind of work. They would do it exactly like this to keep costs low. But the government would fine the hell out of them, take away their business license, and probably put somone in prison.

I grew up with tube type tires and two-piece rims. I never had one come apart, but my buddy had a 10:00 20 in the bed of his pickup truck come apart sitting in front of our shop. It sounded like a bomb hit. More less totaled the bed of the pickup. Looking back at it, I'm kind of glad two-piece rims have more less become a thing of the past.

I've got these split ring rims on my military truck. I am extra careful when airing back up.

@@zacharysandberg I've done some work on them in a past life, and I personally knew a guy who lost his arm to one of these wheels. Young and dumb, was standing over the wheel which was laying down, inflating a tire, holding the air line on, and the ring broke. It sliced his arm clean off, his arm actually got thrown through a window and ended up about 20 feet past the window, and he was launched up the bay, actually slammed into the roof of the bay, and fell back down. What was weird was the severed arm itself was mangled beyond use, yet the stump (just below the elbow) was a clean cut. Ended up getting a pretty cool prototype electronic arm from a new company getting into the business. Ever since then I have never worked on one of those types of rims again.

А то что он это до сварки сделал, не смущает? Отверстия пробитые на глазок и только под колесные болты с помощью приспособления. Станки заваленные стружкой. Токарный станок со снятой крышкой передней бабки. Ременные передачи без ограждения за спиной работника. Накачивание колеса без защиты. Ух блин. Пацаны вообще ребята. Могут, жгут.
