Paku Rock Maze is a unique natural formed limestone formation that is carved out by water weathering process through hundred millions of years that is believed to be geological formation from a coral reef in the late Jurassic to Cretaceous period.
Located near Paku Town, the amazing rock formation is easily been noted beside the road travel between Kuching City to Bau Town. It is 30km drive from Kuching City and it is one of the recommended visits during the return journey from the tour at Tasik Biru, the famous man made lake that is the remnant of previous open air gold mining in the past at Bau, Sarawak.
The Paku Rock Maze is accompany by pristine forest that have roots grow into the rocks. Thick tree coverage allow visitors to walk around the natural rock formation without sunburn. There is allot of great photography opportunity here.
