This week Ingrid will be releasing her latest book - ‘My Mother & I’- a biography focusing on the complicated relationship between King Charles and the late Queen Elizabeth. I think everyone should have privacy, especially when its to do with your health. I'm sure though, once King Charles is well again, he'll release a statement and say what cancer he had and what treatment etc. But even if he doesn't, surely all everyone wants is for him to be well again. Harry allowed his father to go to surgery for ( enlarged prostrate) without seeing his father before. That alone speaks volumes to me. You know he knew before the public did. Had Harry gone and seen his father quietly I would’ve given him the benefit of the doubt. Yet he didn’t. He publicly announced he was going. That smacks of an ulterior motive. Once there he refused to speak to Charles in front of Camilla. Maybe that’s why he only got 12 - 30 minutes of an audience with his father. He wasn’t invited to Sandringham because Charles needs rest and little stress. He would never get that with Harry around.

@@lindyjohnstone7377 Following their marriage the Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip enjoyed a few years with their two young children in Malta where Elizabeth was very happy to be a Royal Navy wife. She was able to go grocery shopping and take her children out for walks and generally live a very ordinary life as the wife of an officer. This life was snatched away from her and her young family far too soon . It's rather different when you become the working Monarch! In this respect, Diana had much more freedom with her family than did the late Queen.

Charles was filmed hugging his children on that yacht, I saw it at the time. But then it seemed to disappear because it didn’t fit the narrative of the perfect mother and the cold father. They also made a big thing of Diana running in the mothers race at Williams school but the film of Charles in the fathers race quickly disappeared. She played the press like a violin, while Charles refused to use his children for press coverage. Harry came to maintain his image in America and not for any filial duty and to make sure his connection to the Royals was highlighted knowing they were launching their website and going to Canada.

Oh Ingrid, you should know better! At 2:04 you mention that KC was taken away from his mother when he was sick - she was the Queen at the time. Comparing the DPoW with her is ludicrous, the PoW was never in the same position or had the level of responsibility. Your constant claims that KC was never an affectionate or caring father are also untrue - even blind Freddy can see this. The 'evidence' you claim about the scene on Royal Brittania with DPoW rushing towards her sons, I suggest you watch the entire footage, not just look at the still photographs printed, because the footage tells a different story and you can see him also eagerly hugging his sons. If you have based the book on hearsay or staff's point of view, there is a problem because staff at Kensington did not know what was going on in Highgrove or BP.

I don't think it was good that Prince Harry went to see his father. He told the press he was going before taking off. He could have done it quietly and lovingly.Oh, but no, he made sure the press knew where and when he was going. Absolutely PR stunt. I like to think Princess Anne met him at the door and told H to sit in the entry and be quiet. Queen Camilla came out from the sitting room and said, "Oh, it's you. You'll do well to go home." Then, H heard "Darling boy," and H tried to get up and answer. Princess Anne pushed him down and said, "Quiet!" The King said again, "Darling boy, oh, do please F-Off."

true Diana used them for her own ends and both his parents were to blame for their marriage breakdown he would have been shielded from alot of it and has probably never known the true story so thinks what he wants and paints camilla as the baddie he is bitter about so many things some of them his own doing and his bitterness will destroy him.

Completely false. Diana admitted.on camera that she strayed first. She also petulantly dismissed her security, tipped off the paps and didn't wear a seatbelt on a fateful night in Paris. Meanwhile Harry told a stack of lies about Camilla which contradicted decades of documented history including his own words and actions.

At least try and get it right! Diana died as a result of her relationship with Dodi el fayed which caused massive worldwide media interest and the person to blame was the driver of her car that night, both Charles and Diana had their relationships with others and the marriage broke down end of story and Harry has his own perceptions of this whether fact or not but queen camilla had no part in the death of his mother and Diana was linked with a few men before her death while for charles it was always camilla he married Diana for duty this was no big love affair.
