In this video, Pat and Glai will be taking on the roles of noble men and women gathering workers from the city to defend against enemies, build fortifications and spread faith throughout the land. The King, in his infinite wisdom, has sent his Paladins to help us in our fight and these fine knights will lend us their abilities as well as help us to recruit workers to aid us in our cause.

My first Garphill game! We actually just got it to the table again recently. More multiplayer solitaire than I like lately but still one of my favorites.

Great to hear that you got Paladins to the table! There is a bit of interaction in the game, with the Garrison and the Commission actions, and the King's Favours, but I guess most of the action takes place on your own board. Still, the depth of the decisions that you have to make and the amazing combos that feel so good to pull off make this one an instant classic for me!

I think you’ve misunderstood the Wall cards. They are immediate effects and not ongoing ones. So Glai’s first 2 wall cards mean: flip a debt card OR take 2 coins and : destroy a suspicion OR take 2 coins. They’re used up straight away and don’t mean you recieve 2 coins whenever you do either of these things for the rest of the game. Great playthrough and you’ve inspired me to get this game to the table again soon 😄
