I hate playing tank in this game. I probably just suck but no one dies, I get stunned 24/7, and i don’t play any of them enough to have the good perks 😢

​​@@cryonixs2894 I use to feel this in a bad way. I'm coming back to the game after a multi year hiatus. So take my opinion lightly. But I've just come to this sense that typically your team in casuals is more appreciative of the objective hunker tank. They're already dealing damage, they just need a meat shield and someone who's going to hold objective so they can get positioning off objective. I usually leave with a very small amount of kills. Decent assists. And a regular amount of deaths. And usually I have like 4x the objective time. And my main priority is hold objective, as well as bully the other tanks away from objective. Mostly Raum, since I main terminus, I can usually freely bully and tilt the Raum players to target me. I use to be butthurt because I felt like bottom frag 24/7 while still getting positive feedback and remarks. Then I realized I'm kinda doing my job. IDK how this goes in competitive though, so again. Take it for what you will.

@@medmerc4968 This is what bothers me because tanks are very powerful when moving forward with a DPS or flank, but in lower ranks, people playing these classes seem to think they should be the farthest away from them as possible, so when you're taking a route, you're always alone, then you die, and the point gets captured cause the other team has Barik or Inara. They also avoid stepping on the point, I once had a Lian straight up walk around when we needed 10 points on the last round to win. It's incredibly frustrating.

I'm assuming it's due to poor Ranked matchmaking where you can have silvers playing with grandmasters in ranked. Could also be due to a champ pool bias, like only good players use Atlas as he's terrible unless you know what to do. With these factors you could have an average win rate of say 56% for diamond+ while the below diamonds have an average win rate of 44%.

​​@@darimok1422 I did miss that he did that elsewhere in the list, so my bad there. But even then, the reason I would want to pick the two characters is completely different. My point was that even though they can seem similar on the surface, they operate completely differently and so I wouldn't be picking them for the same reasons in comp other than "I'm off-tank". I wouldn't look at my team or the other side and say "Both Raum and Yag do the same thing here." For a quick example: Yag is better at pushing back groups, so she works nicely on narrow maps against teams that stick close, while Raum is better at focusing and pushing out a single target. But that's the way I personally think about them so I get it if you don't agree. My main point was just that this channel is one of the main entry points for newer players these days and sticking them together gives misleading ideas to players that aren't familiar with how the characters operate. That's all, even thoufh I get I can sound preachy over the internet. I promise that's not what I mean to do. Also I'm ND, so the essay thing is legitimately how I communicate if you couldn't tell by now (or read to this point lmao, I get it). And that was me trying to keep it short if you'll believe it. I'd appreciate it if you didn't attack something people who are like me can be sensitive about without knowing the person first. That part of the comment wasn't necessary to address what I said. @atarishrivastava8603 meaningful buff, the new juggernaut talent is nice I must admit but my god does my boy still get fucked with that soul armor caut glitch. Not to mention there's still way to much cc in this game so that talent buff dosent really matter and with resilience being split into two items that makes it even worse

one of the things that i like about paladins is that pretty much every character is at least playable. if you’re very comfortable with a character, you as an individual can make them very good. i played willo before the buff, and i consistently got the highest stats on my team, even in ranked, just by understanding my character and simply ignoring the meta. if you like a character, just practice them until tier rankings dont matter to you. moji is a great example of this. she sucks on paper, but the people who love moji are some of the most cracked players ive ever seen and they’re playing a C tier (at best) character

Yes. Atlas e.g. is absolutely trash below Diamond. I always wondered anyway, what Master players nee a tier-list for. I'd assume they know which champs are good. 😇

I have an expansive vocabulary and can articulate myself using a more colorful variation of words when I need to. I usually do this when writing because I have more time to think about what I want to say. When making videos and especially while streaming, I don't employ as many distinctive words for a few reasons. Most of my videos are unscripted, so I'm creating commentary on the fly. I do this while thinking ahead about what specific topics I need to bring up and trying to maintain a semi-energetic vibe, so my verbiage is less rich and dynamic than if I scripted things out or dropped the energy level a bit. And, when I'm commentating over live gameplay during my streams, I have to focus on both the commentary and the gameplay at the same time. It's simply easier to use shorter, more common words - and they get the point across all the same. Lastly, it makes my videos more approachable if I don't speak in a manner that may seem pretentious. I could say that Fernando is an ironclad tank with robust defenses and an affinity for expeditiously slaying his foes by assailing them with his gargantuan balls of flame, or I could say that Fernando is a strong tank with a good shield who's great at getting kills with his big fireballs. It's a lot easier for most people to connect with the second description, especially if English isn't their first language. Simple language makes my videos easy to digest, easier to produce, and it doesn't make them any less effective at getting my message across!

@@darimok1422 if it comes to banning flanks they are. Just because you run out of bans doesn’t mean that they don’t get banned or that they aren’t the top of their class. There’s plenty of times you don’t ban or pick Andrew’s S tier picks. Doesn’t make them more or less S tier than Evie/Andro

That's a player issue not a champion issue. Atlas is strong af if you know how to play him. If you get an Andro who misses all his shots and doesn't fly, does that make andro d-tier?
