I'm always in awe of how much control Remington has of his voice. He has a unique sound that can go from hauntingly beautiful to raspy and chaotic within seconds. His sound makes him stand out. Absolutely stellar cover by Palaye Royale. 👏🖤😊

I’ve been following them since Krop Circle because I always thought they’d make it someday. The only thing I struggle with is his accent. It’s so odd, and I don’t always understands what he says.

And I think this is the only cover (at least the only one I've heard) that sounds angry. It's so fitting. I've even heard a metal cover that didn't sound angry.

@@artyartart9740 I feel like they can be this generations "MCR". Obviously, no one is going to exactly be like them, but Palaye Royale certainly has the passion and thematic qualities just like MCR. Also, they had a whole era no one knew about until their sophomore album "The Bastards" came out, making them BOOM, which is ALSO red and black theme, having a heavy sound. Coincidence? I think NOT.

This is beautiful, I generally always love your music, Emerson’s art, remingtons voice, and drunk Sebastian is just completely a mood. I do think you need to continue the royale television just because there were so many great moments there, I woke up every Sunday and immediately watched the episode. Let’s not compare :( Tears for Fears are a classic, comparing a song from 1983 to a heavier 2020 version (still completely bad ass and beautiful) isn’t fair. They both are awesome, different, and invoke emotion. True art from both parties ❤️

Tbh, I've loved every version of Mad World I've ever heard (ESPECIALLY this one) except the original. Despite being raised on 80s music, I just never felt like the upbeat vibe of the original fit the subject matter, and this song always sounds better to me when it's sung with a lot of sorrow or angst. No disrespect to TFF. They're obviously incredibly talented to have written this masterpiece in the first place, and, imo, their version is still pretty good.

This is so good as ever. I am so surprised by the song itself as the meaning is so meaningful. I am so happy for the guys for making this type of music especially during the year that is not good. At least it is so good as ever and I would play it over and over
