Wow, native New Yorker here. The second restaurant's food looked amazing. There used to be a good little tibetan on 30th and 3rd Ave. And I loved a tiny place called Himalayan cafe on 1st ave & 1st street I'd eat there 2 or 3 times a week.

Hi The NY Lhasa Liang Fen owner is a cheater and back stabber like Chinese. He sold the old Lhasa Liang Fen to one person and then he opened a new restaurant with so called name. NY Lhasa Liang Fen and also he kept all the menu and interior design same as old one. When he is selling the old restaurant he told other person that his doctor advised him not to work in restaurant so he is taking off from restaurant line. Now these shameless and cheating person once again opened the restaurant with same name except adding NY. So beware of this restaurant owner. He is from Lhasa and also he is very cruel in nature.

@@sonamtashi7199 I'm so sorry about this story. If I was still in New York maybe I would know about this. I would like to see Lhasa Liang older reataurant. Why would he do this? Did he take the cook? Because the food in The NY Lhasa Liang Fen looked amazing.

Spicy Tibet is the best Tibetan restaurant in New York. It’s delicious and the prices are not expensive. Must try the shabhaklep and chicken chilly

Lhasa Liang Fen has the best taste overall. A more Tibetan combined with sichuan taste.
