This is such a good beginners guide! Adding the timestamps will make searching for specific info really easy too. I remember trying to figure out all this stuff when I first started playing so I think this video will help a lot of people.

This is great. The only I would add is it's very helpful to do the early quests for the guild leaders to learn your skills and get the initial items you need to perform all the activities.

Once it was available for Steam Deck, I downloaded it...but I've never played an MMO so I haven't even opened the game. I need a MMO 101 video because this style of game is extremely overwhelming. I will save this video and once I build my "courage", I will use it as my guide to Palia. Thanks K!

I think this game will be a good introduction to an MMO. Palia encourages you to play with others but you can easily play on your own until you are ready to interact with other people. There is a lot to do in the game but you can really just do what appeals most to you and ignore the rest. I hope you give it a try!

You mentioned 2/3am... this depends on how the environment. I have waited till 5am if someone is travelling from Pulsewater or if someone calls out that they are on their way. It is not hard and fast rule but... I have noted a dramatic change in this in recent weeks. Many people are cutting and not waiting for anyone or calling out groves. As a long time player, this really annoys me and affects the sense of community. I love it when people apologies and wait but there are many who do not give a hoot.

Hi I've been playing a day or to over 3 weeks this week. I say on the paila utube tomorrow they are closing out the service from 10am-1pm Is this how the update? Or fix things?

Yes! That's how they fix things and update the game. Usually they go down for a couple of hours and are back up the same day
