You can find a ‘grocery list’ of ingredients that Hekla then tells your is a recipe for macarons. The quest is title “the Great Human Bake Off”, reference the Great British Bake Off 😊

There is a quest where Najuma has a fear of the mines being haunted and one of the response choices you have to give her is something along the lines of "Say no more, I'll get the salt" I whole heartedly belive this is a Supernatural reference lmao because ghost are kept at bay with salt circles and can be hurt with salt filled bullets. Finding that reference made me love those devs! Lmao 😂

I've so far found two Gravity Falls references, both from Elouisa. Once she asked me what the scariest creature I'd ever encountered was, and one response (the one I picked, natch) was "a triangle with one eye". The other time she bemoans the lack of someplace in town to collect all the evidence of mysteries around us. Some sort of "shack" perhaps.

During the first (idk if there’s more I’m still new) quest in the temple of gale, Zeki mentions the elements saying it would be a great band name. An obvious reference to Earth wind and fire :)

Einar is my favourite NPC. He gives the most information about the "ground fabric" of the game, or original concept. Every casual conversation with him is chock full of where the game originated, and where it's going. In my opinion. Also, almost every NPC's name seems to have been chosen because of its original name meaning; couple of them seem to be from the Swahili in origin (which, understandably, most of us wouldn't realize). Ashura's name immediately reminded me of Asura, which I associated with Japan, but it could also be from the Hindu, and mean "demon". Have no idea if the devs chose NPC names for other reasons, but I feel like even their names are sort-of "easter eggs".

I found my first Easter egg on ATARI’s Space Invaders by turning the console on and off quickly until the space ship appeared at the intro and then the bullets moved with my space ship. I’ve been addicted since the 80s lol. After that it was MS Excel in the early 90s…. I love the surprises… I blame the movie War Games!

Hello! I love your videos and always look forward to the lore ones. I’m pretty new to Palia so I love these types of things! Also, have you played the My Time series, like My Time in Sandrock? I think you’ll like it, the lore is really cool, it’s full of Easter eggs and I love the characters back stories. You should try it out if you ever get the chance. Thanks for the great videos!

Supposedly Nai'o's name is pronounced N-eye-oh... which I realized too late since I already fell in love with him. But he's probably too dumb/sweet to notice or care anyhow. 😂🥰
