Pallas's cats are flirting during breeding season

2 жыл бұрынThe love story of Zelenogorsk and beautiful Adele, two Pallas's cats who live in a zoo.
The breeding season of Pallas's cat in Siberia is in February and March. This is the time where you can watch two adult Pallas's cat purr and rub on each other instead of fighting with each other :)
In the wild males are looking for females walking all day long across vastness of steppes and mountain plateaus. Pallas's cats are polygynous which means that a male mating with several females during a particular mating season.
In a zoo keepers connect cages and allow male to visit females. In Novosibirsk zoo keepers keep in mind that Pallas's cats are polygynous and connect one male with several females. During breeding season males protect their females even from keepers who bring food.

Since they have more hairs per square centimeter than Any cat large or small, those have to be some very fine hairs to fit thousands in that space. You know then, that they are really soft.

I just got back from the Columbus Zoo. I saw the Pallas Cat mom Tiina and her three babies. They were running mom ragged. They're doing extremely well, and Tiina never took her eyes off her kittens for a second.

@@boojee2893 I filmed this video in Siberia in Russia. There's a huge zoo in city called Novosibirsk. They are very successful in Pallas's cat breeding. There are 19 Pallas's cats in this zoo right now.

They are so extraordinarily beautiful. Especially during the winter months when they’re all filled out and full. The beautiful piano piece on top of this makes this a definite keeper and I’ll go back to it again and again. Thank you for this experience. ❤️

Это только зимой!😉 К лету манулы теряют около половины(!) своего веса!..Даже в зоопарках!! Чтобы "похудеть по зову инстинкта", они даже отказываются от пищи в этот период...😼

@@crashbolll2457 ну да, обычная кошка тоже раньше была дикой, а сейчас они предпочитают жить с людьми, но, на это нужно очень много времени. Может, когда нибудь можно будет манула взять на ручки, потискать, пожмякать, и жить они будут в квартирах и домах.

I had a cat growing up who looked like she had part pallas cat in her,she was chonky and fluffy and was more marmit than cat 😂
