This webinar focuses on caring for emergency department patients with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 who are nearing end-of-life. While the current best practices of palliative care apply, there exist important pharmacological and non-pharmacological changes to consider as we navigate how to deliver high quality care during the COVID-19 pandemic. The webinar will highlight the recent recommendations from the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians' Palliative Emergency Care committee that were published in the Canadian Journal of Emergency Medicine.
