Palpatine suffers from having the slowest deploy of any leader, giving him a serious disadvantage against aggro decks. We solve that issue here by running mono Green Command with the Command event for ramp and early value trades. Enjoy our second Star Wars Unlimited deck profile! Mean Green Palpatine!

Version 8 after going 3-1 in my online league ( Ws vs Thrawn Blue, Boba Yellow, and Leia Tarkintown, L v Chirrut Red) Main deck -1 Motti +1 Piett (Motti is late game combo , Piett is better to drop early with 1/4 stat line) -1 Reinforcement Walker +1 Relentless (Relentless is cornerstone vs control) -1 General Krell +1 Resupply (Resupply is needed at 3, 1 main 2 side, vs control to race to end game) Side board -1 Galactic Ambition -1 Relentless +2 Confiscate (needed to not fold to Chirrut)

It could definitely. I’d say it would have more of a place in other colors of palp, since we have this ability in command, but I can see this card having huge value in palp

What are subbing out for the side deck cards for the aggro and also control matchup?

Against aggro I’d side out relentless and reinforcement walker . I’d try to keep 1-2 walker just in case depending on the matchup. Against control I’d side out potentially strike true, general krell, traitorous, snow trooper . But it really depends with control cause they have different strats it depends on what exactly they doing

Played this tonight at my LGS and beat Aggro but struggled against Vader Vigilance control and palp red control aggro, but I feel this may of been from misplay

I also did add 1 resupply to the MD. I dropped krell. You need to try to out race control and drop relentless

I haven't been on mono palp for a while but I do have an update to the Luke I'm dropping soon, just need to get a few more reps with it. Also have Gar Red and Jabba Yellow too

@@RandomNumberGaming any ideas, Im headed to the gencon tournies this week and I'm bringing your palp and Luke monos, ha. They are my fav decks. I have two unopened new sets that I haven't had time to dive into before gencon yet that I could see what I pull

i made the same deck a while back and it consistently loses to the vader precon. we even sat down and ran a play by play analysis with it making the best plays we could to see how often it could beat the precon and it just kept losing to it.

@@RandomNumberGaming yeah I feel like it can definitely go up against certain types of decks. I think Vader probably just shuts it down too hard

@@_masfueg0_ haha, maybe, I do like it in the side for certain MUs where you need to race to end game, like v thrawn or a mirror

Mate props for the deck and the explanation but I got 6 Ads in the first 20 minutes. I actually quit and go watch something else. Greed less :D Just an out of context feedback

I looked into this and for some reason , youtube placed like 8-10 adds on some of my videos. I wasn't really checking this but moving forward I will, I reduced it by more than half so it should be good to watch now, thanks for letting me know
