He's so deliciously sinister. He defines the Sith.

I love how all of the music in revenge of the sith and it’s counterpart in clone wars season 7 have underlying tones of unease, foreshadowing of order 66.

What scares me about this scene...is how relaxing it is. You would think that this talk about darkness would be done in a dark and lifeless place where you start feeling the creepiness, but in reality it is presented in this relaxing place with mesmerizing images, so you don't sense there is something wrong. Well, that's precisely how Anakin was dragged into the dark side.

If you look closely at the bubble you can see Darth Plagueis’s apparition pointing at Anakin.

I love how ominous yet calming this is. If Anakin is a twisted space Jesus, Palpatine is definitely a space devil. Perhaps some version of the devil that was never even an angel to begin with. 🤔 All of this just makes it 50 times more disturbing that the grandchildren of these 2 dudes ended up having a cheap and contrived "romance"
