Remember when the Empire was so weak, even when Palpy was still around, it literally ended up with a mafia criminal as a major power player, and let him extort, bully and assassinate lawful officials of the Empire? That what you call order? Peace? Remember the Empire literally created the Rebel Alliance, and also had random civil wars every couple years for some reason. So I guess that means that Palpy is responsible for two giant civil wars now and a bunch of smaller ones, nice Empire of peace you have there. Stability? Remember when the Empire fell apart into warlordism about six months after Palpy died because it couldn't figure out how to get a new Emperor, and then proceeded to fuck itself up so bad it shrank to something like a third of its actual size, then had a massive civil war, then had a brief moment of competence when Thrawn came in, then fell apart again because they couldn't figure out how to replace Thrawn when he died, then got attacked and invaded by their old Emperor who got reincarnated and founded another Empire in the Deep Core, then ended up with a random bodyguard as the head of state somehow, and then fucked itself up again so bad it literally winked out of existence? Is that a stable state? All in something like ten years. All this is super old EU stuff too. The Empire's problem isn't that its evil, it's that it's a laughing stock.

The empire fell apart because Palpatine died,but when he was alive he used his powers in the force to control his higher ups so he could stay in one place and control the entire galaxy more efficiently,and it worked,until he died,and there was no sith powerful enough nor officer high ranking enough to take his place
