Step 1: Aggro Jetragon WITHOUT DEALING DAMAGE with palspheres
Step 2: Waste Jetragon's ranged attacks by dodging or flying just below the cliff (I suspect that Jetragon may jump because it is trying to get close to you do that dragon move where he makes an AOE around himself)
Step 3: Lead Jetragon to the edge of the cliff and make sure he can still see you (his head should be hanging off the cliff a bit so he can keep LOS)
Step 4: Move down the cliff with you between Jetragon and the spot he landed in the video (it is imperative that he lands on this spot or higher otherwise he will BOSS FIRST KILL himself)
Step 5: Wait for him to jump off to try to get you
Step 6: Hope he doesn't die and throw your balls at the weakened Jetragon

Did this when level 29. Amazing find. Used hyper spheres too. Yeah cant fly yet but melts everything i come up against

Yea it was super lucky. Difference of about 300 attack on the musclehead one vs the second one I caught

This is very rng to works, jetragon can be cheesed by so many other way and my favorite one is just hide behind the tree and he can't do anything except eating your bullet on his face

Maybe a bit out of context, but what passives do you have on that helzephyr? Is it just swift, or do you also have runner and nimble?

Sometimes they die especially if they hit the beach just below the platform where mine landed. If it's dying for you I would suggest trying to lead it somewhere slightly higher up if you can

What's the fun in fighting Jetragon legit? It's literally just waiting for pals to get him low and you do it over and over throughout the course of the game. The fun is finding a clever and different way to deal with a difficult boss fight. Catching a legendary pal is not some life achievement you should gatekeep so harshly. It's just a funny game where you can shoot the animals.If you want to see me fight some hard bosses legit feel free to check out my Elden Ring videos.

@@Johnsalchichon390 Because there is so much arbitrary gatekeeping in the gaming community and I just wanted to call it out because it's a waste of time and makes you look goofy AF to anyone who has encountered it while playing other games. I have caught every legendary on the map legit and I can say that making Jetragon jump off a cliff is still pretty fun. If you don't have the skills to pull it off and you want to watch your pals beat him up for 5 minutes more power to you.

yep, happened to me too, I got it to half during battle then I drop down and it followed me.... except in my case it died lol also, I found out that it's not really that worth it to go out of my way to capture it while my level is low cause we actually still need to be level 50 to unlock the ride jetdragon skill- in case that's the reason people are looking to capture jetdragon as it's the fastest flying mount by leaps compared to say ragnahawk.

It is still a super over powered pal, frostalion is also a better (fighting) option. But if you are only seeking fun I think is better to play the game right
