I would drop the vixy in favor of sootsear. Drops bones, to pair with the pal fluid for cement.

How are you able to build stairs on your main platform? (where your palbox is), it doesn't allow me to, just says "isn't connected to a structure"

The frantic way you constantly moved and swung the camera around in this video made it impossible to try and actually look around at how you built the place. Maybe DON'T do that in future build showcase videos, cause it ruins the actual viewing.

How are u able to build the top layer supported just by the stairs? I havent reach the point were i gonna start to optimise my bases quite yet but dident they add something that stops u from building out unless there is a support structure like a pillar or a wall connected to the ground.

@Shiftry87 I think the pillars are so you don't need stairs or walls to connect it. Ideally you wanna add pillars but I'm just lazy to where I haven't done it

I'd bet the trees beneath it are acting as supports. I don't know if it works for all trees, but I've noticed the same thing in a few of my bases. I also have a very wide base structure with a completely open first level and a double-wide ramp leading two stories up to the second level. I have a level 2 ore site (the very large one unlocked with ancient tech points) in the center rear of that on the ground level and it appears to be providing support for the second level - so much so that I only have two pillars on the very edges to help support it.

@alvincoc7791 unfortunately I couldn't have an afkable and unraidable spot with crude oil. I just set up a separate spot and then have that going. If I understand how it works. You don't have to be in the area for it to run so it can be anywhere for the crude oil
