@@xKeegaa8126 the cotton sheep drops them and you can put them in the Ranch and can farm Cotton Candy. Very easy to get indeed.

@@xKeegaa8126 It's just as easy to get as wool and eggs - but cotton candy offers very low food (5, instead of berries 16), so you need a LOT more of it. What you can do, is farm it up, and then when you want to mandate cruel work, swap it over to the left most box in the food tray.

Just make the Jam Toast. Takes flour and Berries, restores a good amount of nutrition and sanity. Pals cook up super quick as well..

While not as fast, I have noticed that the Suzaku has incredible stamina and can fly for quite a while without having to rest, which I find handy for exploring.

At first I was trying to play on hard. But man, it's not hard, it's grindy! Best thing I did was getting rid of the "survival" aspect of the game (partially, because you still have to deal with the endless crafting). If you change your world config so their stamina goes down slower, you can basically cross the whole map resting only a few times. To me it isn't cheating. It actually brings more fun to the game by lessening your frustration.

Use the fenglope dash ability off a cliff edge to yeet yourself across insane distances very fast. Honestly once you get a good fenglope you will only ever be using a flying mount to get height and even then fenglope has double jump and can climb a decent amount of the mountains with ledges

One thing I think we need a stat on is the stamina gauge, Suzaku feels like it has infinite stamina, where all the birds feel like the drain so incredibly fast. Suzaku also has 1100 sprint speed while mounted

Suzaku has 350 stamina, Faleris has 230, Beakon has 160, Shadowbeak has 250. Jetragon only has 100 stamina, but it's base speed is higher than every other mounts sprint speed at 1700.

2:10 the boss is actually hidden in a cave behind the huge waterfall there. you need a lantern or the cave instantly goes fully dark and you're not gonna be able to see anything

Ragnahawk is the quickest flyer that is small enough to fit through dungeons. Another bonus it adds fire damage to your attacks while mounted for farming the highest level dungeons in the ice biome easily.

As someone only just starting to obtain these, my beef with Ragnahawk is that it takes multiple key presses to lift off. Beakon and Suzaku (and Nitewing prior) are single press/hold to lift off. That just feels better with how I'm accustomed to mmo flying mounts and such.

I agreed with this at first, however once I realized that flying mounts move at the same speed while using less stamina when they sprint on the ground (plus you can start regaining stamina just by stopping your sprint, instead of having to descend back to the ground first, so a lot of time saved that way too), I started to prefer this type since the only reason to fly then becomes vertical traversal, so I'd prefer having to double-jump to start flying rather than having to descend to land again after every time I need to jump

@@daveman4321You can breed pals to pass the passives onto different types. To get them originally you will need to catch one with it though, so yes.

Me and my friends have been breeding Faleris, and they are pretty dang fast. Our Faleris Pals ended up with Swift, Runner, Musclehead and Ferocious.

Nice comparison, midgame pals you mention also fit into caves where late game big pals dont, Another thing is there are dash abilities on flyers also like Nitewing also has dash ability with its tornado attack, i think felaris also has similar attack

I found Ragnahawk egg at lvl 18 when I was exploring high-level zones and it is an amazing attack pal at my current lvl 22. Can’t wait to reach lvl 37 to unlock the saddle 😅

I managed to breed a Rangahawk by combining a Relaxasaurus and a Cinnamoth both of which are not to hard to find compared to going all the way to the southwest.

Beakon is also a mini boss much closer to spawn. Also i like to go up instead of down when im running out of stamina, bail and hit my glider and by the time i hitbthe ground we got flying stamina charged again. Also, if you see a down slope, in the direction u wanna go, you gotta try the slide (tap crouch while sprinting) and glide (jump from the fastest point of your slide and open ur glider right away keeping the momentum. Ive travelled long distances like this in very little time.

Instead of running out of energy on a flyer to land it you can also dismount and mount again or just use glider before landing

The breeding pen kinda bugs out between world loads. You have to empty the pen, leave the area for a minute, come back, and THEN try assigning them to the breeding pen. Another "This will be patched eventually", assuming Pocketpair doesn't just take the money and run the moment they think people aren't paying attention anymore.

@@KiraSlith @ppppw2 I did eventually figure out why it wasn't working. I had changed my "partner skill" keybind to something else, which prevented me from throwing pals to assign them(and because I had these keybinds since I initially started, I had no concept of what it was supposed to actually look like). Resetting my keybinds to the defaults fixed my issue.

5:56-6:15 Another good trick for traveling farther once your flying mount runs out of stamina is jumping OFF of it and immediately start gliding (have a Galeclaw on your team to glide extremely fast) also if your stamina starts to run out while gliding then request “ride” again, by then your flying mount will have its stamina back to catch you in the air. If your flying mount somehow gets stuck or doesn’t catch up with you fast enough there is also the option of letting yourself free fall and then click the glide button again just as you’re about to land. I also recommend having a grappling gun on you just in case when you fall, could avoid accidentally missing a cliff you wanted to land on.

It took me over three full pall boxes of breeding but a have a Beakon with swift runner and nimble and it's so fast. Also if you want to descend fast and don't want to wait till you run out of stamina you can dismount and remount instantly and you will descend very fast.

Another tip if you're absolutely set on using the direhowl because its cooler or whatever you can use its fierce fange move, then jump a little bit after you start moving to get some insane chasm clearing leaps.

check out the rayhound, it is great, just as small as the wolf but with a double jump and even faster.

Fenglope still better. Fenglope is a tad slower, but has a WAY WAY better double jump, is more accessable and has a better offensive AND defensive stats + the Level 40 skill is one of the best ranged shots in the game @@Rolin_Jones

I have one of those direwolfs from way early, it been great. 50% Attack, 40% speed and lvled it up 3 times and used all the souls on it. Its like 800+atk at lvl 40~ And it seems to be super fast, like I get the speed lines walking

To get more speed I have a galewing and I just jump off the mount when they run out of stamina and just glaide untill I'm out too. Then hop back on, they are full, and keep going.

That double jump is crazy. U can super jump with the skill quickfang on direhowl. I'm curious if we can find quickfang in a skill fruit and combo it with double jump. As it stands right now ( from my tests ) the direhowl quickfang super jump is the highest speed we can achieve, including lego pals. It also 0 CT if you don't hit another pal.

I finally got Jetragon. So happy to get the fastest Flying Pal in the game. Still working on the best Ground Pal with high speed. Ray hound has been great so far with Runner for the time being until I breed a faster one.

go for Fenglope with swift and runner (nimble optional) and you will feel the difference as night and day

@@mzeekhalid5797 Which one was that? The Cobalion Pokémon lookalike? I got every single Pal but not all Saddles unlocked due to lack of TP. I believe the Paladin Centaur one is the best Ground mount due to his triple jump and charge move.

Fengalope was actually my first real mount because I didn’t really travel as much and focused on bonuses and resource hoarding in the early game. And let me tell ya the one I bred came with swift and a free 20% bonus damage from his penguin father and a few extra perks turning him into a god damned battle mount.

Beamon is my favorite. He looks the best, and he’s actually pretty easy to cross breed with good stats, with a Grizzbolt and Relaxaurus Lux. Grizzbolts usually have good passives and Lux often has none. So easy to work on the passives.

I have noticed that not all flying mounts can move if you are overweight. I am still using a Nitewing for mining purposes. Even slightly overweight, it can still (slowly) move around. From watching your videos I noticed the faster your mount the quicker your stamina runs out. So essentially, you can't go any farther than the slowest flyer, you just get there quicker.
