Hidden use for the refined metal pickaxe: having something to beat low level pals with so I don't one shot them with my rifle when I want to catch them.

Ok so funny thing about the torch is that it applies burn. Not only will this help you capture things but fire also doesn't care about your level, weapon damage or enemy damage. It deals health percentage damage so the simple torch will do hundreds of damage to a level 50 pal in just 3 swings. The fire bow has range the torch has not ammo and keeps you warms. So I'd put is as EH tier. There's a reason it takes longer and longer to apply status effects to pals

I did not care at all for the sword. For a weapon, it's quite nice and it does a big bunch of damage. But the game is crazy for putting the sword at such high levels BEYOND FIREARMS. Why would I want to run around with a sword when I have a friggin shotgun. If they gave us that sword 10-15 levels earlier while I was still a "cave man" then absolutely I would use the heck out of that sword. But unlocking it at such late game just seems silly to me. Update: following everyone's suggestions, I tried using it as a pick ax/axe. It seem to do it okay so I'll keep using it as that. Overall though it's still pretty "meh" of a weapon to be unlocked so much later in the game. I'm not going to run around attacking enemies with it because a shotgun is still faster and more convenient for low level pal farming. If I could use it while mounted though, then THAT WOULD BE AMAZING weapon.

the bee staff is actually nice. it has no repair cost and it a drop from the be queen so it costs no mats to get.

6:57 The first pistol uses the same ammo for the musket, it can't be more painfull to make if it's the same. And yes thats the point of having more bullets per magazine balanced with the damage, the musket does a 1000 and you need 4 seconds to recharge, while the pistol can shoot faster and with 3 shots (half the magazine it makes a little more damage compared to the musket) and the reload isn't as slow, they are different weapons, the first pistol isn't bad 😐 You aren't even judging the weapons by what they do, just by what has higher numbers without thinking about anything else

To comment on the Flame and Poison bow, you can buy the Poison and Flame Organs at the Small Settlement south of the Desolate Church. Also if you have Flamebelles, you can throw threm in your ranch to get fire organs.

"makeshift pistol ammo is harder to make then the musket's" They use the same ammo. Makeshift pistol is your first semi-automatic weapon. Much better than the musket since you can get off more than one shot per century. I actually like it better than regular handgun, higher damage but lower DPS and much cheaper ammo. as the game progresses, it stays very good for chip damage when you are trying to get something low for capture.

One thing I will say is that the weapons that require Coarse Ammo are really great for carrying you through the mid game. If you actively go after Syndicate Thug camps often, you'll get a crapton of Coarse Ammo for the Musket and Makeshift Pistol. The Makeshift Pistol is also really useful for getting a Pal to low HP for capture, since its' damage is so low. That's at least how I've used it, and it's great for those instances.

IMO Lily's spear is a goated weapon slot for the utility alone

Remember the torch is the FIRST weapon that applies a burn effect. If you cant afford to make the flame arrows it can save you.

Gotta say, while I personally never used it as such, the Torch is basically an early Stun Whacker that applies fire with a few hits instead of shock - helps with capture rates slightly for no ammo costs, not entirely useless, I guess. Though Flame Organs to fuel the Fire Bow are easily farmable at the Ranch with a Flambelle or 2.

Fire/poison bows are literally in the S tier, if you're going for a boss just take your pals and these 2 bows for the hp% dot, they deal insane amount of dmg, also fire/poison increases the catch rate.

I actually got the Elizabee staff as a free drop the first time I fought one, so it was far better than any other melee for a very long time.

The torch was the only reason I was able to solo the mammorest at lvl 10. It gives burn via melee and doesn’t break

I'd argue that the flame and poison bow deserve to be a little higher. You don't exactly want to use them for damage, you want to use them for inflicting a status on a pal to increase their catch rate by a pretty good amount. Inflicting both often makes some pals have a 100% catch rate when they'd normally have 60-80%. Plus the low damage they do ensures it won't kill what you're trying to catch. They're both an all round amazing catching tool. Edit: I'd give them "Quite Nice" as late game these gems REALLY shine over the crossbows for how much easier they are to inflict status and can allow you to catch really strong pals early if you're stubborn enough.

Poison arrows are op. With the bow, not crossbow. You need someone who add fire damage to your attacks and now you have 2 debuffs. With proper amount of arrows and dashing skills you can take down bosses that are 20+ lvls above you

The fire and poison bows are severely underrated here because they can help increase your catch rate, even in the end game I still rock those weapons alongside my AR and rocket launcher

If you can get ⚡, poison and set pals on 🔥 you can increase chance of capture by upto 30%

The torch can apply fire/burning status to enemies, it's surprisingly effective against endgame level 50 bosses to set them on fire. Also, the fire/poison arrow has a faster fire rate than their crossbow variants. When you apply ANY status effect on pals, burning, poison, stun, frozen, blind, the taming/catching chance will go up quite high. I just generally don't agree with a lot of you choices. For example, the primitive pistol might have a smaller magazine than the normal pistol, but it has a higher damage / hit amount, and the bullets come around more often in a relativelyearly game when you'd use it. For catching endgame bosses, shooting them with some poison/fire arrows will be a great trick, for improving your chances at catching them. Optionally you can use pals to apply those status effects as well, but if they fail to do so in a timely manner, it's time to pick up the fire/poison bows. Not the crossbows though, those take longer to reload. If you have issues with the fire and poison organs, justbuy them from a merchant. It's not like gold is hard to come by if you hve a decent mining base with ore production that you can craft into nails that sell for exorbitant prices. Also, Flambelle in a ranch produces flame organs, so those are also farmable. Sure, late game the grenades can take the places of these bows, and they really do, once you're properly set up, but the bows are the cheaper alternative. The musket has the worst reloading time in the game as far as I'm aware. I used my crossbow until the primitive gun, than the primitive gun. The musket crafting was a waste to learn. Single shot rifle... I don't even know. I got an assault rifle schematic from Blazamut before reaching there, never crafted any of that single shot rifle. The Suzaku boss drops schematics for the better shotgun. Why use the worse one at all? Lyli's spear can animation cancel by crouching/standing up. It's the best tool for chopping down trees. Almost the same speed for breaking rocks asthe refined metal pick. This isn't a weapon, it's a utility item. The sword has it's design based on the swords used in the first witcher games. It gets fun points for that. But it's not like it's usefl or anything. Barely hits higher than Lily's spear, andhas no animation cancel, so it actually takes longer to cut down a tree using that. And we don't us emeelee stuff as weapons by the time we get a damn bow, let alone firearms. Why would we want the sword other than for looks? Also, the hell is that Elizabee staff? O.o never heard of it. When I first saw the "35 weapons" in thetitle, I tought it's gonna be the common/uncommon/rare/epic/legendary variants of the 7 types of ranged weaponsin the game, excluding the debuff items and consumables, (grenades and fire/poison bows/crossbows) with numbers behind the different variants. Really, the only reason why I ever picked up the normal handgun, what that enmies stopped dropping coarse ammo, and kept dropping handgun ammo instead. If they stopped dropping so much handgun ammo that I don't knowwhat to do with, I'd still use the lame looking pistol that had the better damage. Alongside my nice little epic assault rifle, as a sidearm. With a rare pump action shotgun in the bag in case I run out of ammo for the assault rifle, and need another weapon. Obviously the grappling gun is the best in the entire game, so there was no contest, that has t ostay on at all times, and Lily's spear is the 2nd best utility item after the grappling gun, so that stays too. That means only 2 weapon slots.

Having fire and poison bow/crossbow helped me a lot on legendary world bosses as they deal% hp of the boss when status ailment is inflicted and they are waaaay more cost efficient. I rarely even used my legendary assault rifle and shotgun when fighting the bosses lately.

U can use flambell in your farm so you dont run out of fire arrows

Mid game farming Sparkits, Rooby, Cremis, etc. for your strong lead pals. Those elemental bows are clutch. 1 shot + 1 ball toss = super fast catching sprees for condensing. There's a right tool for the job and the variety is fantastic

The AR is my favorite. The ammo can be bought easily from a vendor in bulk and it's great for whittling down an enemy to just below 100 health for a capture.

You can increase the effectiveness of any spear by animation canceling via crouch spamming, the hit rate can actually stun quite a few enemies in it's intended range even without headshot spamming, you will burn alot of stamina doing this at max speed. sword and clubs can't animation cancel, but tend to have a better aoe range than spear, but the spear spamming is so helpful in combat and harvesting materials once you get refined metal or lily's spear.

Lily’s spear may not be the best for dps, specially considering the threat of melee, but it’s still a must have since it means you can compress your old melee, pick, and axe into one item, reducing weight and also have an upgrade to boot

hey you know about the spear crouch tech right? it's not just for lily's spear so maybe spears could use a little tier bump XD

The beginning torch has 10 damage but also has a chance to do burn damage and if you successfully set a pal on fire it will increase the catcher rate. it’s actually a really good weapon for catching early pals like level 1 to 6 but if you found shiny, use your regular weapon

I've got legendary crossbow quite early in the game and it's amazing. It's rougly equal in damage output to musket. You just need two shots instead of one to get there, but it use arrows which are dirt cheap at that point and probably free if you caught Vixie and threw in the farm. I'm near unlocking assault rifle already and still using this crossbow from time to time.

Regarding the bow. It is indeed one of the better weapons in the game. Even when you have the crossbow. Since it's really easy to get a legendary old bow from kingpaca, the legendary bow hits just a little bit less than the crossbow, but it's range is far better, it fires rapidly, and it doesn't need to reload every shot. This allows you to use it even late game as a reliable weapon to wittle down a pal's health and not waste ammo doing it.

Flambelle completely trivializes the materials for the flame arrows

You can catch enemies on fire with the torch after a couple hits, it’s actually decent damage early game. It’s breaks easy but it can definitely save you and it keeps you warm until you get clothes.

I feel like you missed that you can get Flambelles fairly early on, there's a, while out of the way, lv8-10 location that spawns them out in the northeast area where the giant lava chasm is. They give Flame Organs as their Ranch item making using Fire Weapons a significantly easier time. Otherwise, pretty good.

Some corrections, make-shift handgun uses same ammo as musket (course ammo), but still prefer the musket as you said :). Also flame arrows are free to make, just pop a flamebelle into your ranch and you have infinite flame organs (they are catchable in the middle area (no hot weather) where they are lower level, or, just breed). Also the flame/poison stuff melts large hp bosses.

Makeshift handgun should be towards the top. Does more damage than the base version of the other handgun and you get twice the ammo for the same resources. Only bad thing about it is that there's no blueprints for higher tiers.

Gonna be honest with ya brother. I've only made it to the fire bow at this point. However I do want to bring up that the Fire Bow / Poison Bow are probably the strongest weapons in the game not called Rocket Launcher. Both Burn and Poison deal 10% of the targets max HP as damage over time. Against Legendary Pals you almost can't do better.

Makes me feel better about sticking with the crossbow and musket all the way into the upper 30s still. I've only finally started using the single shot rifle around 38 now that I don't mind the ammo production. (crossbow for weakening things, not killing). I'm extremely upset the musket and SSR don't have upgraded schematics. The free ammo with crossbow and musket are big deals for me too, between all the arrows the FPA drop and the course ammo that thugs drop. By the time I'm actually switching to the SSR I have over 800 course ammo, and I've only ever crafted maybe 200. The rest is just loot.

Kind of like how the Shotgun gets an upgrade, it'd be nice if there was a more advanced version of the single shot rifle. Maybe just a slightly stronger version that holds a few more rounds. Maybe an upgrade for the stun rod too, that greatly increases the stun chance.

i had trouble getting enough mats to craft ammo, so for me, my main weapons through the whole game were the bow, crossbow, metal spear, musket, and lily's spear. i used lily spear along with the musket well into the later part of the game. once the sword became available, i crafted that and once i could craft ammo, i switched the musket for the single shot rifle.

The makeshift handgun uses coarse ammo just like the musket does which makes a firearm loadout surprisingly accessible in the midgame. It is very useful for lowering mid level pals health and is a great compliment to the musket. It's at least a pretty good tier weapon for the level it is unlocked at.

It's not a bad video, but I disagree with a few things.. I skipped old bow and went to the three shot. Its way better. Then used the three shot with a cross bow. Elemental arrows for either of them I skipped bc why? The video made the point tbh. All you need is maybe poison since a torch will burn enemies well enough, but really if u want status DMG, then get a pal for that, and u can teach it to do all the different status DMGs. U never really need them until ur going for pals that are hard to catch anyway. I actually would also recommend using a pickaxe or axe for when u are trying to catch pals bc ur fists are to weak and leave u to vulnerable compaired to the possible stagger and slight increase in reach with more dmg either of them can do compared to fists. I really liked the bat till I get around having the baton. Dont bother with either Handguns. They are a drain on resources and the first one is only arguably a little better than the musket in the short term since it can use the same ammo. While the musket is very, very good and u can use it for ur whole playthrough. U can first use it to be a power house and later to deal good DMG without killing what ur trying to catch if u take just one or two shots and switch to something else. The makeshift handgun just becomes to weak and costly after awhile despite the fact it takes the same super easy to get ammo. If u keep making low lvl thugs respawn in a dungeon by going back an forth between rooms you can farm the ammo from them easily. Especially if it is night time, then u can just shoot them in the head with an arrow for an instant kill while they sleep. Similarly, u can do this with their cakps around the world for other ammo not just coarse if they are lvl appropriate by leaving the captured pal in the cage and fast traveling back and forth. The best one for this method is near the first boss tower since a teleporter is rifht there and they are low lvls. Coarse ammo is also the easiest ammo to make. I drop my three shot bow at once i get a musket. When I get the Stun baton I replace the axes all together bc by then u can and should have a mammoth or some other pal to do wood cutting and mining in ur party or in the PC when u actually want to do them things anyway. Especially the mammoths since they are a no-brainer and are the best at gathering resources in the game when mounted regardless of passives. Grenandes of all kinds are good but very costly for resources so i dont use them until perhaps mid to end game for the most part and that is mainly for status effects or clearing mobs without using rocket ammo if my saddle doesnt have rockets while in the end game. I never use spears till i get lily's spear but by then im mainly just using a gun with a cross bow and low hitting melee to make sure I dont kill the pals I want. I dont use the single shot rifle bc the musket is just better imo for resources and ammo is scarce. The DMG is just so high with the musket, that the faster fire rate with the single shot is honestly not that big of a deal. Despite having a higher DPS and reload speed. First shotgun isn't worth it either. Just go for the pump. I made the mistake of getting it and had to play catch up with tech. points. I only use the sword really as a novelty bc it doesnt have as good reach as lily's spear and its basically a late to end game item which at that point u might as well pull out a gun. All end game guns are really good and obv. should be used. So in the beginning im mainly building my pal team and base by saving resources and being a support/harasser in combat with three shot bow, and low grade melee weapons like a bat and axe. Early to mid game its cross bow, tri bow, bat, and axe. Mid game im using musket, cross bow, axe or pick axe, bat or spear, and maybe tri bow. Mid to late game im using cross bow, baton, musket, maybe gernades and/or lily spear. End game i run around with rocket launchers or gernades, assualt rifle, shotgun, and/or cross bow. Sometimes i still pull out the Baton or Bat bc u get pretty OP and just obliterating everything makes it hard to catch them. All this is also depending on whether i find good schematics or not and if u prefer a bat or spear. Arguably, the spear is better, but i just like hitting pals with a bat.

I traded my melee for a pump action shotgun. Best weapon in the game imo

I would argue the triple shot bow is the most goated weapon in the game. I used it from unlock until around lvl 30. It brings so much value and longevity. I only switched to the crossbow when I acquired an epic and legendary schematic. The reload time was too clunky to justify early compared to the bow being ready to fire whenever you were ready to fire. If there was upgrade schematics for the triple shot I would still be using it over the cross bow for open world general combat.

You gave the stun baton a better rating than the torch and they ultimately do the same thing. The torch sets pals on fire which also raises you catch rate.

I don't find Lilly's spear difficult to make (maybe because I'm always alpha hunting?), I really love it. Despite "getting close to enemies is bad" that spear to the face just melts pals, I generally stop using pals on lower level alphas because of the spears damage out put (anything below 30) Edit: Torch probably deserves nerf instead of its worse tier, I mean it does set things on fire which has to count for something. It doesn't always do it, and it takes time, but it does out damage the other trash weapons when it sets things on fire

Torch belongs all the way in top of trash, it has infinite durability, keeps you warm, and applies burn, which increases catch rate. The torch is the ONLY melee weapon you should craft.

Lily's spear is great as a weapon. You can hold down the left mouse button to attack and crouch after each hit. Eliminates the need to have a pickaxe, axe, and other spears.

If you capture an Elizabee, you get her spear, which does 150 damage, attacks quickly, and takes ZERO resources to repair. You can get it early game and it's amazing. It also mines way faster than the early/mid game pickaxe.

6:40 torch can light pals on fire so you can cath them more easly and you have it on 1 lvl and you put it in the lowest tier...

I still wish your character would hold the spear like a pike so you could get that extra reach like a spear is supposed to get

Fire bow over regular bow, flambell farms fire organs so it’s quite easy to stay with tons of fire arrows for the fire crossbow and bow

The Elizabee staff is actually pretty good. you dont buy it, you get it as a drop from hunting Elizabees. still fast, good in the mid-game, especially for raids sense enemies dont fight you until they get inside your borders, and it's also free to repair, from my experience, I'd put it in Pretty Good given when you normally get it if you're hunting for elizabees/beeguards

I gotta fight for my boy Torch. It can proc the fire status so if fighting bosses while underleveled you can get some cheeky dot damage this way. Also the light stacks with the hip lantern to bring the daylight with you anywhere.

makeshift handgun is just flattly better than the crossbow. Its more damage, better firerate, it's hitscan, it's just a pure upgrade over the crossbow

Also, if you go grab a flambelle or find one in a cage you can get flame organs and have infinit flame arrows early

I think you need a deeper dive into the mechanics, DPS, and DPS/resource needed, because this tier list is wildly inaccurate. The makeshift pistol does more damage than the regular pistol at the base level using cheaper ammuition. In comparison to the musket it still has higher DPS. Torch also applies burn which is a percent based damage regardless of level.

I always thought it weird that you can ride pals like Kitsun (which is awesome btw!) and not get burned. At least with Kitsun, you can toss it out in a base and NOT need to worry about having anything on! Be in caveman clothes and you'd be fine at night! The rocket launcher is fun but boy do you go through ammo fast! LOL! Plus I thought it very weird that the Poison Crossbow didn't have a unique picture but hey, I am certain that will be patched at some point.

I think crossbow is the best weapon, it carries to like level 40's, especially if you have like the strong purple version.Main reason is how cheap to produce its ammo which is basic arrows and purple one have around 450 power.

One thing to note about flame bow/flame crossbow, burning is %damage, 1.1% enemies HP per second

For me the makeshift pistol was much better than normal pistol. It have only 2 less shots, it uses less expensive ammo, it have more damage per shot and finally its easier to make. I really didn't bother with musket using crossbow until i got the guns. For them axe its good when you want to weaken some middle level pals and catch them without killing. Stunn batton is thrash i was using it a lot and its thrash, pals dodge makes jumps evade and run around and it takes 4-8 hits to apply the stun on stronger enemies so its thrash. (on weaker pals you don't even need that stun bonus). For pistol i use it together with single shot rifle because rifle can kill weak pals too fast so i need some weaker alternative for it. My picks was: Spear -> Triple shot bow -> crossbow -> makeshift pistol -> single shot rifle -> pump action shotgun. Also when you are around lv 35-40 you can farm for better blueprints for shorgun and rifle to build them before you unlock them on tree. They can be found in boxes in the desert of ice areas.

I haven't figured out the exact conditions for it yet, but what puts Lily's Spear from Pretty good to a Spicy tier for me is that while you are attacking with it, something is making it recover durability. I've never had to repair it once.

Sword should've been built much lower. In place of the existing sword, we should be getting something crazy like a chainsaw sword.

I just use the pistol to capture things. The musket tends to suck in that regard because it one shots things. Although it’s pretty nice to shoot bigger things with your musket and follow up with the pistol.

In early level torch is S- level. Applying burning status effect and keeps you warm is actually busted !

I disagree on the torch. Any condition effects increase your catch chance. So, early game it's good for pal-farming. Your time would be better spent leveling, but if you want to play pal-collector from the start before you can get rank 2 spheres, it's good. Also, once you get the hip lantern, replace torch with stun baton in equip slot. A lot of people sleep on the multi-sphere launcher before you get the ability to craft the rocket ammo BUT... Throw a shock grenade then shoot the multi-sphere, and good for capture farm.

1:01 The Torch can light pals on fire doing burn damage over time so it's not too bad but still bottom tier. Plus unlike the club it serves more purposes like lighting up the night and keeping you warm. Club is the worst.

Easy way to farm flame organs is with those small fire wax Pals drop flame organs in farms

Stopped watching at the fire bow ranking. Fire organs are easy to farm in the wild, Flambelles are easy to breed for early for unlimited fire organs, and status effects = easier catch rate. Like, how you can put that behind the old bow is mind blowing. Even the poison arrows I have barely ever run out of just by going on a quick daedream farm.

The sword is a good weapon, but it's value late game is more so that it takes the spot of being the best pickaxe, axe, and melee weapon all in one.

You only get 4 weapon slots for tools and weapons. There's nothing bad about using a tool as a weapon to weaken a weak monk you missed the 10 catch bonus on. It's better than wasting a high level ball on it or killing it Many people pointing out that torch applies burns, which is actually huge. Burn damage is % health regardless of anyone's stats. It's why you can take out mammorest with ranged fire attacks way before you're even close too its level. You just dodge it's attacks have your pet or you do fire damage, you'll only deal 1. But the burns will eventually kill it. I caught a vanwyrm or whatever it's called, the early fire flying mount and caught mammorest while I was like level 21. The cach rate after hit was like nothing tho, took a lot of balls, but I did it. Had that "pal level sync" error for a real long time lmao

I found legendary crossbow plans early in a dungeon, that was extra spicy 490 damage an arrow. Makes arrows not useless even late game. Sadly, I don't think poison and fire get legendries though.

Flame and Poison bow are very good for both boss kills and applying status effect for increasing capture chance. Both burning status effect and poison do percent max health true damage per tick (0.1 % HP per tick) which is amazing if the boss has 200.000 HP and one tick does 200 damage, compared to your other weapons barely do any damage. Yes, the initial damage of bow is bad, but the status effect is extremely efficient the more HP the enemy got, and doubles as a catch chance aid. Also the fire and poison bow is better as the same type of crossbow because not evry arrow applies the effect, and a higher shot frequency compared to the crossbow makes the bow better there too, since it can apply more hits with a potential chance of applying the status effect compared to the crossbow. Of course, spamming this bow onto every enemy, is inefficient ammowise. DPS wise the Pump Shotgun is much better then the rocket launcher by far, doubling down with the fact that hitting weak spots is almost impossible with rocket launcher somehow, but very easy with the shotgun. I find myself not even using the rocket launcher anymore in serious fights but just for fun, blowing up small weak pals for laughts. Shotgun much stronger in extended fights.

Well... first thing i do in the game - craft a wooden stick and the balls, and then just catch 10 cattivas, 10 lumballs and 10 chikipies. And when I finish, I'm usually already around level when you can craft triple shot bow and a baseball bat, so I don't use neither standart bow, nor stone spear at all

On my first run I was so excited to finally get a firearm and it was the musket. It sucks so badly. It takes years to recharge and although it has nice damage, if you fail a shot it’s such a pain to reload. I hate it so much. And I completely disagree with the makeshift handgun. I had made a lot of ammo for the musket and then I started using the crossbow again but when I got the makeshift pistol I was amazed at how much damage it does while being so easy to use and using the easiest ammo to get. It’s amazing. For me I’d put musket at eh and makeshift at pretty nice.

Torch is best starting weapon because it burns the Pal, which also makes catching them easier

The only thing I don't agree with is the incendiary grenades.. I just gotta say, I was able to completely lock down and made taking down Frostallion the first time. So super easy with it

The torch can catch pals on fire. If a pal has a status, the capture rate increases.

I really wish the sword, musket and double barrel had schematics. Late game i want my meme dark souls/elmer fudd/own a musket for home defence build to be viable

How the bloody hell could you put makeshift Pistol in trash and regular pistol in pretty good? It uses Course ammo just like the musket so it is cheap and drops everywhere AND it deals 320 a shot vs the Regular pistol that almost deals 100 damage less and uses more expensive ammo??????? Only when you get blueprints of the pistol does it start getting better than the Makeshift but this list is about the technology unlock weapons.

I used cross bow for so long due to ammo. Never even unlocked musket or ghetto pistol. Waited til normal pistol

Elemental damage can pierce defenses tho, and you can set them on fire if you hit them with torch. Meaning if you fighting boss that is few level above you instead of hitting them for one damage you could set them on fire and watch them losing 10+ health per tick. 0:50

I wish they had options to keep those relevant for the whole game. I'm level 38 right now and still using the three shot bow

torch is actually the level 1 stun baton with burning debuff instead of shock.

if anything im surprised you ranked everything the way you did, decent tierlist for beginners though i guess - also a misconception, Gunpowder isn't really useful until lategame when you need to make Rockets for the Rocket Launcher, since as long as you can make endless amounts of gold (by selling nails/boss drops) you can actually purchase all types of ammo (excluding Rockets; hence the need of gunpowder late game) from merchants around the world so you saying gunpowder is needed for every weapon is both true and false at the same time. PS. The Musket is pretty bad lmao since the reload time vs the DOT from either Flame/Poison bows can actually preform higher damage in the time it takes to reload it. But I can tell you ranked everything based on the damage they can do rather than actually trying them all out, cause it'd be an entirely different list otherwise

torch is top tier you can cause status which have you on catching and BRING more than 1 musket and reload after you finish the fight

you lost me at getting fire organs is a pain when you can literally have a pal farm them at the ranch which is still available early enough.

sorry your forgot the very frequent setting them on fire damage, which is a percentile damage, old bow is also perfect for tapping that pal to drop its health to 10% or less also fire organs are easy to get, there is a pet that drops hundreds of them per pal day, as for the poison organs, theyre easy, run from one side of a dungeon to the other and back and the daedreams respawn constantly, have a dragon damage pal with you and theyre flooding your backpack in minutes. poison stun and flame together each add status effects and % to catch lilys spear is aoe, and for the damage it does its rather cheap and cheap to repair, added that yes its great for mining and tree chopping and weighs a lot less than carrying an axe and pick, and thats not if you have a mining pal, as for shotguns, you are still close with them so putting them up there is misleading
