Do you use only bottles? Then there is no reason for pain! Yes, it's difficult, BUT ONLY with real weights. With 2x 3kg weights.

@@lenak218 But even if I would only use bottles it could be exhausting. Everybody has different strength and so you shouldn't put down people who might work with less weight. I also started with 1 kilogram dumbbells in the beginning and am now at 4.

The difference with professional body coaches is they work with you one on one based on your own fitness level. But yeah Pamela's workouts have been amazing during this pandemic! It's risky to go to the gym since you're sharing equipment with others

Oml that was the most difficult part to me!!!! I can't even do 3 on my knees in a row without hollowing my back at some point (which if you do that, it's not really a push up. Stay as straight as possible. Ik because mom's a personal trainer and trained with her before)

I’m being honest, I hate talking about feelings or personal stuff but almost every video of Pamela includes a song that reminds me of my mother, or a song that I genuinely want to show my mother - I always start crying during the workouts because I know I can’t show her because she passed away on christmas. But those tears won’t stop me from finishing this workout, not only for me, but for her because I know how proud she would be if she could see me right now. I‘m sorry for that personal stuff but I really had to open up. Stay strong people 🤍

Okay gyms won't open for another couple of weeks... SO HERE WE GO, making sure our arms also get some love 💖 training them at home without equipment is a little hard, so I want you to use WATER BOTTLES (or 2 packs of rice, 2 cans of milk, ..) for this one. This will make your arms more defined & strong - definitely not huge and bulky. I weighed my bottles: they were 750g each, including water and the bottle itself 🙏 Let me know if you like our little piece of "equipment" 😬 xx Pam

Great Arm work out! i'm 64 and rebuilding mussel after Lyme disease. Thank you Pamela For your wonderful workouts. I love having the variety of workouts to choose from. Make sure to stay hydrated during the workouts! They will seem to be so much easier when you drink enough water. Especially this one when you drink the water right out of your bottles :)

We looked at water bottle workouts for seniors, but they just weren't so interesting. Then we found you. Couldn't make it halfway to begin with, but now my wife and I have included you in our daily routine and my rhythm is improving, which says a lot. Thank you.

My arms have never felt this sore in my entire life. The knee push ups that always gets me felt EASY!! I did this workout with 1kg dumbbells. I underestimated Pamela lol At least I feel really strong now! Update: I've been using 2kg dumbbells and can barely keep my arms up. My hold is above my hips lol I'm working on, so keeping my arms up like Pamela using 2kg dumbbells for this workout is my goal for 2021! @@mariesilver4023 1kg is enough because the point is to tone your arms. Thats why you do the exercises without pauses and fast. If you want to gain muscle you have to use heavier dumbbels, and take pauses of course because its going to be more difficult.

I just want to say it really works!! I could only do the first 3 minutes without a break the first time I did this, and I stopped in the half because I couldn't anymore. I've done it 5 times (once in 2 days) and now I can do the whole video withoust pausing!!

@@ieroine Then you should focus on losing weight. This workout will train your arm muscles but isn’t going to make your fat go away. Focus on Cardio and HIIT workouts where you have to jump and stuff like that because like that you will lose more weight than from only muscle training

Fat doesn't mean you can't be fit. let's drop this notion that fat ≠ fit. fat people can be fit too.

@@cinnamonbun216 It kind of depends on how "fat". If you're actually obese, you can't really be that fit in general compared to a non-obese person, and if you do too much exercise while obese you can put too much strain on your heart. One exception would be sumo-ringers, but as soon as they stop exercising, they have a really reduced life expectancy, compared to the normal (Japanese) population. So yeah, you can definitely be really strong and fit as someone who has more fat than what's considered standard, but if you're obese, you'll most likely not be really fit and you'll also have a higher risk of dying early. Everything in moderation, and that's also the case for weight. Not too skinny, not too chubby.

Omg I did it!! I was finally able to hold my 2kg weights up high and not just above my hips by the end!! I started with 1kg at the beginning of last year and upgraded to 2kg by the end of last year!! I can finally do it with 2kg weights! I had a good feeling about being able to finally do it properly to the end with 2kg weights and I did!! I'm so proud of myself ♡

Okay so I’m bad at motivation but this summer is the one I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve told myself I will get fit and change myself (seriously I’ve lost track) but every time I failed I hated myself for it !! I don’t want to be a quitter anymore and I need to change to love myself not necessarily for ‘looking better’ but to feel better and to know I tried and that I didn’t just give up, I want to be the best version of myself and if anyone else has a similar story good luck and keep picking yourself up! It will be worth it in the end ✨💫

You got this! Make sure you find exercises you enjoy and it will be much easier to stay motivated because you're actually enjoying the activity. I find Chloe Ting's videos to be highly effective for my body.... but I dread doing them so honestly I just don't follow her workouts anymore. I find Pam and Lilly's videos to be the perfect blend of fun and challenging so I actually look forward to working out. You might have a completely different idea of what is fun and that's great! Just find what works for you and stick to it.

I was born with hypotonia which has reduced muscle strength as a symptom so I’ve always been weaker than others my age. But thanks to Pamela I can finally do push-ups on my knees 😭

Day 1: done✅ Day 2: ✔️ did another arm workout by growingannanas Day 3: ✔️ did Anna’s workout, next day it will be Pam’s Day 4: ✅ it wasn’t easy, but I felt great after Day 5: rest day did a stretch Day 6: ✅ was good but it felt a lil bit painful P.S. I've been doing just this arm workout about when quarantine started, all I gotta say is it WORKS! My arms are so well toned, and it builds and tones the triceps as well. If you want to workout, don't waste time trying to pick the "best one". JUST DO IT! You can do it.

Hey! I wanted to share my results with you guys, because they are absolutely crazy! My arms have always been extremely thin, I had zero muscles, my arms were sticks. I have done this workout once a week since May 10th and I have a bicep! I am sooo happy, I feel stronger and even if sometimes, I falter and don't do the whole exercices, I feel that my body is changing and every session is making a difference. Keep going, every efforts you make will pay off and you will be as proud of you as I am of me!

I am doing this with 20 lb dumbbells. I have to adapt some exercises because of the weight. I pause the video every 1 minute and rest 30 seconds. I've had great results.
