So glad I found this channel, My father was actually an up and coming musician and had different record companies offering him record deals in the late 70's and early 80's,he was diagnosed with cancer and only lived 6 months afterwards,he was never able to pursue his dream,he would write celebrities back then and recived bus fair thru mail from Richard Pryor himself to come by Greyhound bus to watch one of his live shows,back then I was only about 6 didn't know who Richard Pryor was due to his grafic content with his language and I now have all his autographed photos of Mr Pryor as well as signed post cards,I also have a Julian Lennon sighned photo,the cast of the Andy Griffiths show as I am from NC,Jim Cary signed autograph from the mid 80's and many more, my Dad enjoyed these so much and I am proud to have them myself, Take care,new Subscriber!!

Aww I'm sorry to hear that about your dad. Those sound like great autographs and momentos to have. Definitely worth keeping that way you can think of your dad often. I have a lot of fun doing this hobby, it's a great way to interact with these people when we can't actually get to them necessarily.

It's kind of a smaller niche than sports cards I'd say, but yes I do try to write many celebrities if they sign 😁😁

Thank you, I usually get a deal on them through Amazon. Like $16-$20 for a box of 100. Walmart and Office Depot also may have them in stores. But they wouldn't be the Ultra Pro Brand. Just type in 3 pocket pages

Once again a fantastic collection caleb . One person I kick myself not trying to get is bob mcgrath from sesame street he was my favourite human character in the show 😢 proof if they sign always try and see if you get a return. I personally not a fan of the new Lord of the rings . Does the woman who played Abby in ncis sign ?

You know I never sent to Bob either. I was very hesitant to think the new Rings Of Power would be any good, so far it seems good. I don't think she does, at least I've never seen.

I gave up writing to celebrities as it took a long time for a reply and often didn't get replies. I try to buy signed photos from actors online stores now or through private signings but that can be expensive.

I just use 6 x 9 envelopes, and then stick slightly smaller greeting card envelopes for the SASE
