I'm so glad you found my videos too. I'm sorry you have had trouble with your cooking times. I have not made tots or sweet potato fries that I can remember. I have heard that the sweet potato fries do better on the tray vs the basket. I've made regular fries in the rotating basket and they have turned out great. I've made a lot of roasted veggies too so maybe lower the temp/time or cut them into larger pieces to keep them from burning.

I tried it again and it took 70 minutes to cook and I think that is too long for the air fryer to run on a setting that isn't dehydrate. I'd split the batter in half and bake 2 small fluted cakes using the same directions for the Caramel Latte bread. Sadly, I just forgot and it was too late when I realized it. I'm so sorry! I just wipe down the insides after every few uses and that keeps it from being super dirty.

hi Lisa, I'm not sure I understand correctly but each setting has it's own pre-set time and temp but you can chance the time and temp on the dehydrate setting. The other settings you can change the time but usually not the temp. The Custom setting allows you to control both time and temp. Does that help?

@@TheFlipFlopChef that answered my question. So it does have its own dehydration temp setting and it can be changed to what ever temp you select. I find it odd the book would not list strawberries it gives all other fruits and veggies. I did dehydrate them on 135 for 4hrs and it worked.But ty for responding.

Hi Rita, I don't think you have ruined your air fryer. If the coils got dirty, I would just wipe them off and then start using the guard. The guard is mostly to keep a rotisserie chicken from brushing the coils each time it turns. Hi there, thanks for watching. I saw your question about the cake pans... what exactly did you need me to clarify? I made the Caramel Latte Bread in the Pressure Cooker Fluted Pan (it is safe in the air fryer). I made the Dulce de Leche cake mix in the Pressure Cooker Springform Pan (also safe for the air fryer). I initially placed that on the middle rack but moved it to the bottom and added the mess catch to shield the cake from getting burned on the top. I actually feel like it too way too long to bake in the air fryer and won't do that again for that recipe. I hope this helps.
