Thank you! That was very helpful. I have only used a few of pieces consistently over the years, but have several more down in the basement. Just incorporated an older version of the deep covered baked and used it to cook a full chicken dinner in the microwave! Came out great and in 1/3 of the time than the recipe called for in the oven! The adult children were wary, to say the least, that I cooked chicken in the microwave. Checked the meat temperature before serving to reassure them! Only cleaning it with hot water and the scraper, so trusting you all that that’s safe even for chicken! Watched several videos before doing it!

I’ve had the pampered chef pizza stone for a little more than a decade and I’m so glad I bought it. It’s perfect for baking bread and it doesn’t burn your bread at the bottom. I’ve heard that if you buy cheap pizza stone for $20 with a different brand that over time the stone will have a weird smell. I’ve never had a problem with any weird smell so I’m glad I never had that problem. The pampered Chef was my first baking stone and I’ve never had to use another brand. I usually don’t like to promote products for free but the Pampered Chef has given me very good results. I’m also a person that would automatically opt for cheap cooking stuff, but I’m glad that I didn’t do that with the Pizza Stone. The bread does cook very differently on the Pampered Chef pizza stone than on a casserole glass dish.

So glad you invested in the PC version too! :) I've heard horror stories of oils leaking through cheaper versions too & causing a mess in the oven. Oye!

Very informative. I’ve been using PC stoneware for years and you gave me several pointers I did not realize the difference between the newer stoneware thank you

I have some of the oldest pampered chef stoneware. It doesn’t look anything like the stuff you’re showing right now I still keep it in its original boxing to protect it. My pieces are almost black from so much seasoning. I also was wondering, can you cook in an open fire oven with your stoneware?

I used to have a old PC stone and it broke because it got too hot and I did not let it cool and tried to clean it 😢. Just got my new stone and excited to see how it works and how long it lasts ❤

Can liquidy, stew like things be cooked in a 'naked', unglazed pan? If I make scalloped potatoes, for instance, will it stick? Cheese? Thank you.

Great presentation--better than other videos. Hopefully you can answer--What "other" chemicals (if any) were added to the stone to make this fusion tech. possible? I'm looking to get away from ALL hidden chemicals in my cookware.

Maybe you'll know... I have a Food Ninja toaster oven that is very shallow. Just under 3 inches of pan height. I have used my pizza stone in it, to great success, but am worried about using the bar pan, which just barely fits. The stones I have are the older type, so not suitable for broilers, but will they work in a close fit toaster oven?
@heidiinthekitchen6928 Жыл бұрын
As long as the sides or top of the pan aren't touching the toaster oven and the temp doesn't exceed 400, you should be OK. Also be sure food is evenly spaced & surface is covered at least 70% to prevent thermal shock... that's the same for an oven. :) I hope that helps!

Why are there not videos to season stoneware
@Naanii773 ай бұрын
I think just using it seasons it.
@tibbs40002 ай бұрын
the more you use it, the more seasoned it becomes, the better your food tastes

Can i use the old stone wear on an outside propane grill?
@heidib4486Ай бұрын
Unfortunately, no. The only stoneware type product that is grill-safe is the RockCrok line.

Years ago my pizza stone broke in the oven the first time I tried to use it. Been afraid of getting a new one.

That's really unusual. Call Pampered Chef and tell them what happened. They'll probably replace it - no charge.
