Hi Gemma! I was using the color switches also and found they were too rough. Instead, now I use a microfiber washcloth to clean them between colors. They're literally the same material as the Makeup Erasers and are really soft on the brushes. Bonus - you're not wasting and throwing out tissues all the time, these just go in the wash. :)

I use a dry flannel to wipe my brushes on. Works really well and is reusable

I just use a yellow microfiber cloth to switch colors with eye brushes. You can wash it after you get done. It is much nicer to your brushes and it’s easy to tell when the color has truly been released from the brush.

Hallo, I am really please with the new elf putty blush. I am diffently getting other shades. One of my (new to me) June favorite was colourpop super shock highlighter. I just dab a bit on my finger and tap on and in seconds done. I still need to try the infallible blush/bronzers. Thank you ❤️

I am getting close to 59 now, and my skin is dry. Powder makes me look like Death. I have just found a finishing powder that is invisible on me, not at all drying. It’s from Moira cosmetics. I highly recommend it for anyone else with dry skin!

I never thought of the dry brush cleaner ruining my brushes. thank you so much for that tip! I use a dry brush cleaner that is much more fine… maybe that’s why I haven’t worried, also, I tend to be very light on mine. I love taking care of good quality brushes, I have two original Bobbie Brown from 1987 and they work great… although I prefer a softer Wayne Goss.

Hi a real favourite for June is the colourscience spf 50 original/classic. I have extremely dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin. Most chemical spfs burn/sting and most mineral spfs are really drying on my skin - it's a minefield lol. I really like this one - no irritation, non drying, looks really pretty on the skin and has a slight blurring effect - I just LOVE IT. I've just ordered the glow version to try out as well. At £24 for 55mls it's not the cheapest, but it's a lot cheaper than the PC calm or the skinceuticals I was using before. This is so pretty on the skin that i've been skipping foundation and just using concealer where needed, but I like a sheer coverage product in the warmer months. In fairness my rosacea is relatively calm just now and I only have my chronic redness patches to deal with, rather than a bright red flared up face (which would need more coverage). I've been loving cream blush and cream shadow sticks, to go with the more minimal makeup look i've been wearing. I still wear a mask in indoor public places, so that is also a factor in why I'm happy to wear a sheer coverage product perhaps. Best wishes.

I am so glad I am not the only one who thinks the BP nail polishes are terrible. My issue was that the consistency was too thick. It seems they are having issues getting it right. I will take your advice and get some of the BM polishes!

I snip my eyelashes sometimes, otherwise I look like a sunflower because they go over my eyebrows 😂. I loved your darker hair, but this lighter color, with the green in your sweater, your makeup, you look fresh and summery!

I bought the Ipanema shade of the new Beauty Pie polishes and I love it! The moment I unpacked it, I immediately went to my nail salon and had a pedicure with it. The nail tech didn’t struggle with it, and she applied two coats (I know you were talking about the orange as the “trouble” one). Shiny, and so far, long-lasting.

I am trying The Ordinary’s lash and brow serum. Less than a week’s use lashes are already longer. Haven’t noticed same on my brows. But for the cost and quick results I am loving it so far.

Thanks Gemma. I'm absolutely dying to dry the Chanel. I've bought the Lancome mascara. I love Lancome mascara I always go back to it. I hope I like this one. I did get it for £24 from look fantastic. Let's hope it's worth it. I tried the Mac stack mascara and you may enjoy it. My only dislike was that at the end of the it flakes off a little and fell on my face and went in my eye. Maybe that's just me though. I'd love you to try the beauty pie AWESOME BRONZE™ LUXE SHIMMER OIL BODY BALM. Id appreciate your honest opinion.

I use the revitalash lash serum and have got years. But I got my brows ombré tattooed last month from a lovely lady in tickhill they are amazing. I’ve constantly got brows even without makeup. She is brilliant 🤩 I don’t have brows naturally so I had to put them in everyday now I don’t do anything. 😍

Hi Gemma, the MUA Andrea Ali also hated the lancome mascara initially but she said that after a couple of weeks it 'thickens-up' and now she loves it. Have you tried the new RapidGlam mascara (the brand that also make the brow and lash serums)? It is, IMHO, FANTASTIC!! I love, love, love it. It makes your lashes look like falsies. I have been using it everyday now for a month and my lashes are so long and soft and just lovely. It lifts and separates the lashes (I do not like a 'clumpy' look and this won't give you that). I am actually struggling to choose one of my regular, holy grails mascaras over this I think it is THAT GOOD. Would love to hear your thoughts on it. I think I bought mine on Cult Beauty or Space NK. Please give it a go and see what you think!!!! xx

The BEST conditioning mascara was the Peter Thomas Roth mascara lashes to die for. They discontinued it. I’m using Grande Mascara now. Not as good but close.

I bought Ipanema and Sunlight nail polish from Beauty Pie. I had to put four coats on of Sunlight before it looked decent. A total fail.

Mascara - of all beauty products to ever exist, should be without fuss. And this one by Lancôme looks waaaaay more fussy than I want to put up with LOL

The Westman Atelier Vital Powder is gorgeous 😍. I even use it on my under eye area as well as on my pores (either side of my nose)! I'm also loving the new ABH palette (I can't remember the and I'm too lazy to get up 😂😂). The colour story is right up my street - perfect. I wish I had known about the Revolution Cream Bronzer before I bought the CT one, I actually prefer the Revolution as it's more emollient and I like the shades more!! I'm gutted I miss the LIVE ~ I was asleep 😴 💤 Of course, it will have been a great chat, it always is 😉, and I do love a good old natter. I, too, am disappointed with Lancôme mascaras. I’ve bought one and the guide separated and oozed all over the place. I returned it and it did the same thing. What a bother.

Hi Gemma, what is brow laminating?

I’m a long time BeautyPie member but they’ve been slowly increasing prices actually and with membership on top, several products are actually no cheaper than others. The nail polishes are now £10 for members - let’s face it, I can grab a Nails Inc for £11 - and if the quality isn’t there, then it’s losing its appeal. The tinted moisturiser and foundations are dreadful for cooler skintones (they are orange based) and the new hair ampules have had people having severe allergic reactions to them. I’m not sure what the quality control is anymore?

Maybe use Seche Vite top coat to give it a shine
