I was late to the party on ELF Wow Brow. I have learned how to use it over time and the most important aspect for me is the little birthmark that I have in an eye brow that makes a patch of brow white hairs and I have had to work with for years is easy to carefully manage with the Wow Brow darkening those hairs for the day. I love that!

Hi Gemma please would you do a video on eyebrows for the older woman. I’m 69 tomorrow, strawberry blonde with eyebrows that have a few almost white wiry hairs, a couple of sparse places but a fair bit intact too. I hate micro bladed eyebrows they look so false but would love a “masterclass” from you.

Susan have u tried tinting your brows? It's best thing I started doing and I do it at home and only costs couple of quid on Amazon 😃

I remember Worzel Gummidge and you’re right it’s very un PC! We loved it back in the 70’s too. Watched it after school if mum was out! We were not allowed to watch TV much as kids-‘homework, chores and then get out of the house please!’

Really happy to hear that I can use this device… as I’d assumed my dark blond hair would still be too light.. I thought it only worked on really dark hair. I’m glad you mentioned the dry patches that can occur with the New Huda concealer. I used it for a couple days and it was perfect, then I wore it and it was so, so dry and patchy. I went back to my Dior. It never fails me.

Hi Gemma! I also love many products from Elf and frequently purchase from their website here in the USA. They don’t send out any notifications here either and they use a lot of wasteful packaging. Even if I order one product I get this huge box, way too large for the product. So it’s not just in the UK. Have a great weekend!

Hi Gemma, great video…your not the only one to say the colour shades come up light with the Huda concealer. I watched Risa does makeup and she had the same shade 2.1N…it was nothing like the colour description…I’m thinking a trip to Boots to actually swatch on my skin.

Love these products. Now epilate my underarm every two weeks but top off my legs every 2 months In the past I shaved my underarm every day. Now the hair grows slower and much softer.

I have had the same problem with elf. I never heard from them. the tracking number would say "on its way to next facility" then out the blue a week later it arrived.

Hi Gemma, with regard to the Elf delivery I have had the same problems. In fact I actually forgot I had placed an order. Now I go to Beauty Bay, I have purchased a Haul Pass so get next day delivery free and they now sell E. L. F!! 😁. Hope this helps. It's my cosmetic go as well as Amazon and I've had no problems. Elf give great discounts when you use their website. Personally it doesn't bother me waiting a few days extra if it keeps their prices down. I think we've all got too used to next day delivery with Amazon and before we know it they will be our only option. Also in my experience Beauty Bay are just as slow to deliver.

So much criticism of Elf. They are a relatively small company offering good products ethically produced for very reasonable prices. I prefer to buy from them directly and I always get great discounts. It doesn't bother me to wait a bit longer for (free) delivery, first world problem in my opinion. We've all got too used to Amazon and next day delivery and it may well in the not so distant future become our only choice. Re the packaging I've never received my orders from Elf in too much packaging (now Amazons over packaging I could write a book on). Gemma, I do think if you order from a luxury brand's website it's reasonable to expect prompt delivery but not from an affordable brand like Elf.

I completely disagree, but that’s ok. I’m confused why you think Elf is a relatively small brand. They’re huge. I’ve ordered products from Colorpop in the USA before and they’ve arrived in better time. Personally I don’t think there’s an excuse for slow delivery anymore. I don’t expect to receive my parcel overnight, but it’d be nice to receive it in less than a week. Don’t get me wrong, I think a lot of their products are amazing (hence why they feature in this video), but they’re letting themselves down on this one area. Many affordable brands, Revolution, The inkey list, The ordinary, have mastered delivery. It’s about time Elf caught up. My intention was not to moan, but more to make people aware that if you’re expecting your products quickly, you’ll more than likely be disappointed. Xxx

@@PamperedWolf Well maybe it's because I live in Northern Ireland but I have ordered from all the affordable brands you mention and also Colorpop and never received my order in less than a week. The only company other than Amazon I have received my order in 1-2 days is Cult Beauty and I maintain they factor this into a lot of their prices. Its ok with me too to disagree and I still maintain, for me, I don't particularly think it matters to wait a few days extra.

Has you mum or someone older than you that you know, used it on their face please? I’m an aesthetician and my 78 year old mum has been advised by her doctor not to get laser or IPL because she h had skin cancers removed in the past- living in Australia!- she is finding she needs to dermaplane everyday! That’s what I got her doing but she’s getting frustrated doing it everyday. Do you think waxing might be ok for her or shal I get her a nuskin smooth skin?
