We went in November and had a great time as it was relatively quiet (still warm!). Probably better for swimming during the summer (May until October), but also more crowded! Try to stay until sunset because that’s when most people will have left

If anyone is planning to go to pamukkale with a tour agency, be aware that there is an extra 200 lira to pay for entry to the site. Some tour agencies will not tell you this for some reason, ours luckily did. Your tour guide will likely collect this money on the bus so when you get there, you can skip the queue. If you don’t pay the 200 lira to the tour guide, you’ll have to purchase it yourself at the site and wait in line. There are also extra fees to get into cleopatra pools and for lockers too which you can pay your tour guide and they will give you the key.

I worked as a tour guide in Turkiye --too briefly. I am impressed with the integration of maps and drone footage into the program. I also appreciate the calm tone in your narration. Many people who were privileged to visit some of these sites in Turkiye in the 1960s or before may attest to pollution and environmental degradation due to 'developments' and urbanization nearby. I hope your efforts do not end up convincing irresponsible people (foreign and domestic) to swarm into sites like this, and leave their unwanted 'legacy' behind...

Awesome! You’ll enjoy it! That’s a lot colder than we were there! Well the hottest of all pools is the little running stream on the side of the pools! They look like little jacuzzis. Other pools were lukewarm but doable once you’re in them. 😊 getting out again is the hardest part 😉

@worldwildhearts
@worldwildhearts Жыл бұрын
It's hard to say what the prices are right now for Pamukkale! But shouldn't be more than 50 USD from there. It's a long drive from Kusadasi though! For Ephesus, that's very closeby and you could probably find something cheaper or get there even by public transportation and then save big. For Cappadocia, you'll have to fly most likely as that's really far. You can check tours via our link in the description!

Hello. Incredible video. Thank you for sharing. Can i ask how much it costs to rent a car to caves? How far it is from the center and are there buses that go there?
@worldwildhearts
@worldwildhearts 2 жыл бұрын
There definitely are no buses there as it’s super hidden! Not many people know about it. A car rental is pretty cheap, you can probably rent it from Denizli or another big city for less than 30$ a day. It would be better to use the rental car to visit both pamukkale and the caves though as the caves are just a small part (takes maybe 1hour total to visit) so wouldn’t rent a car just for that

@World Wild Hearts that's funny I wonder why drones r not allowed specifically, if u know the glass terrace in sabanja and mashoqia I literally asked the tickets attendant if I can fly the drone he said yeah just do it 😄 also in trabzon ozongol lake I flew it also there was a police dept down there with no drones allowed sign, but nothing happened, in general I flew my drone in many places in turkey and I find turkish people really easy going, but pamukale seems different...

They ruined this place, this use to be very beautiful a couple years back. Water that used to fill the pools are now being diverted to provide water to the resort below. You can see the ditch/ canal they created to divert the water.
