Join us for Part Three of our Pan Am Inspired Destination Wedding Invitation Suite video. This destination wedding stationery suite is our most involved project to date. We’ll be using screen printing, letterpress printing, and die cutting to create the entire collection from beginning to end. The design is a faithful recreation and homage to the historic Pan American Airlines. Watch along as we take you through the making of each piece of printed matter. We’ll be printing a Flight Ticket inspired Wedding Invitation with a unique tear-away RSVP card, custom luggage hang tags, a baggage check form, an enclosing folder, and custom zipper tab envelope to bring it all together. We’ll be mixing and matching color, trying out metallic inks, pushing the depth of letterpress impression, and shaping and folding paper stock. Get a true behind the scenes look at how this boutique wedding stationery suite is made from scratch. We use a variety of paper stocks from cotton paper, to coated paper, to uncoated paper to build a wedding invitation set that recalls an era of mid-century inspired design.
The classic look and feel of the Pan Am logo and typefaces work perfectly for a Hawaiian destination wedding. When all the pieces of this suite come together it makes for an incredible package. The variety and assortment of cool print pieces feels exciting and impactful to all those invited. A true keepsake for an event that will remain in people’s memories forever.
