Dear Lauren, as I was watchign this video I longed to reach out and give you a giant hug! It is such a shame that a wonderful person like you was treated terribly by the "machine". I hope that you can continue to push forward and do the types of videos that you love and enjoy. It is so important to work on your own personal happiness, if that means working and your current job and doing the ocassional video, then that is what you should do!

I just found you after finding an interview with kandee Johnson mentioning the first youtubers in beauty. I watched you in high school 10+ years ago. I am now a 27 year old married mom of three and I am so glad I found your channel again. I was off KZfaq for some years as I went to college and had my kids. Lauren, I never stopped watching you. You taught me how to do makeup at 16 years old. I'm 30 years old now and will never stop watching you. I’ve been following you forever since “putting on some shaak skin 🦈” when you began your YT journey it was a lot more passion driven whereas now the passion is more towards the money. You’ve been through so much and come out so much stronger, I’ve loved your videos and personality from day one. The thing that pisses me off is that the nice people (you) always get walked all over because you’re nice whereas the horrible people tend to succeed a lot more.

I remember being about 13 and watching you religiously and when my account got hacked and I lost everything, and it took me ages to get things all back, I couldn’t find you again for the longest time and I’m so pleased I managed to find you again recently. I’m now 23 and my love of makeup started with you and took off from there. Listening to all of this has broken my heart for you, Lauren. You were the reason I got so into makeup. I used to watch you all the time when I was starting secondary school and you taught me how to cover my spots and blend my eyeshadows and I’m forever grateful for your teaching and your lovely personality. The thing is, I always enjoyed the makeup, but I enjoyed you as a person so much more and I’m just so happy to see you happier and doing well. You could come on and talk about anything you want to and I’d watch, because it feels like a chat with a friend. You are honest and real and I’ll take that over makeup community drama any day. I have so much admiration for you. When you cry I cry for reasons we don’t need to explain. Always here to watch your videos whenever your ready to upload. panacea81 Now that I know you’re back I’ll be checking for you. I had just started working as a MAC artist in 2007. You used a lot of MAC then. I would go in with looks that nobody else had. Thanks for the inspiration 😊You are unique, entertaining, talented & humble. Have not seen all those positive traits (that so appeal to me) from anyone else on here! The dips are so great. For some reason when you ramble in the containers it relaxes me. 😂

Nowadays I can't watch videos on KZfaq without skipping parts of it. However I absolutely enjoy watching Lauren's video from the very beginning to the end without skipping a second.

mrpois0n me too! If I watch a tutorial and there’s too much talking, I change it. But not with Lauren. She has a way of talking that makes it feel like we are old friends. I never skip ahead.

Hi Lauren, I’ve watched you since the beginning and I’m glad you’re back. I remember that bbc interview too. I wasn’t aware of all the heartache you had gone through. I’m so sorry you were used in this way. I own the big brush from your range and I love it! It makes me think of you every time I see your name on it. I'm so sorry what happened to you Lauren. I knew something was wrong I remembered watching your tutorials for each palette and I loved the purple palette and tried to recreate it just like you. The first video I watch from KZfaq was you and I told all my friends at school that I learned makeup from you. I lost my account but got a new one and did not hesitate to subscribe again. You will always be an inspiration and I'm not going anywhere will follow always. I'm loving your content as always. I'm glad your here I really appreciate it your here.

Just wanted to say thanks for this raw and honest video. It's lifted me out of a low mood today. I remember watching you back when I was 18 years old (31 now) and still living with my parents. Probably 2007ish. I've had some big struggles in my life too, and it hasn't turned out how I had planned but it was comforting to watch you speak so openly about your life and challenges that you've faced. Jordan sounds amazing. I have a 4 year old daughter, almost 5 now, I hope I can raise her as well as you've raised Jordan xx

I'm so glad to see you back. You don't have to explain at all why you were away. Also, that is crazy your gums changed after smoking. The same thing happened to my mum, had been a smoker for years and stopped then her gums changed and teeth moved apart. She had a gap in the exact same place yours is and she got the dentist to just fill up the area with composite (nhs dentist). It's very cheaply done, stops you from having to get a brace too. You would never notice it now on my mums teeth and it gave her her confidence back. Xxxx
